mga suggestions ko lang po... for the better management of symbianize :lol:

una, pansin ko po kasi only a few newbies actually post in the forum(leechers), only a small percentage of them only care to introduce. pwede po ba i-setup ang sistema na naka-block out ang ibang forums except the introductions forum and new users must make a single post to access the other forums? so parang ganito ang mangyayari:

1. newbie cannot access other forums except introductions
2. they have to make at least 1 post to access the rest of symbianize
3. they are then forced to make that single post by introducing themselves to access the other forums :lol:

pangalawa po, this suggestion pertains to the mods.

if nakakita po kayo ng double-post na resource(such as application or program), hindi po ba pwede na i-merge na lang yung double-post thread sa original thread? think of it as the double-poster took the liberty of reuploading the original app. malay nyo, expired na yung app dun sa original thread. pwede siguro ito to keep download links fresh, at para di masayang effort ng poster :lol:

parang ganito yung situation:

1. there is a thread named, say, "Mobile Antivirus 1.0"
2. 2 months later, another user posts a thread "Mobile Antivirus 1.0" with the same app uploaded
3. since the other thread was 2 months ago, it has probably expired.
4. if the two were merged, you can have mirror links of the same app, and just edit the post saying, "Mirror Link" or something similar.

napansin ko rin..tama yung suggestions ni Instilled bee mga mods para naman kahit papano yung mga newbies eh makapagpost ng introduction nila at kailangan nila to gawin para makaaccess sa ibang forums..at para sa second suggestions..maganda rin yun mga mods kasi mas organize na yung mga files.mayroon kasi iba, kasali pala ako dun, makalimutang gumamit ng search engine thinking that siguro walang pang nakapost nito then in the end mayroon na pala..so para mas organize at iisa lang yung thread na papasukan para sa file na yun kailangan siguro i.emerge kagaya ng sabi ni instilled bee..:thumbsup:

Parang ang pangit kasi na they just join here para lang maka-dl diba..

Kahit kelan never tyo maglalagay ng post count restriction sa members para lang maview ang isang forum. Tulad ng sinasabi natin dati pa, ayus lang kahit wala tayong ma-contribute dito ang importante masaya tayong lahat. Gusto natin kung magpopost sila eh dahil gusto nila hindi dahil napipilitan lang o may hinihintay na kapalit. Golden rule natin sa pagpost, kung may ipo-post o ise-share ka, ipost mo na. Kung ayaw mo edi wag.

Alam naman natin dati wala naman ganyan sub-forum dito at hindi natin yan pinapayagan. dahil gsto natin lahat masaya, ginawa natin un Web Offers (http://www.symbianize.com/forumdisplay.php?f=110).

ganyan naman talaga ginagawa dito. ang pag merge ng two similar topic/thread na magkaibang hosting site or link na ginamit sa upload. hindi mo lang siguro napansin.

another suggestion po... if ok sa mods natin lagyan ng protection ung mga files natin dito like they should press the thank you button before they can acces the file.... para po sa mga posters natin.. para hindi naman sayang yung effort nila/\.../\ PAGPATULOY natin to!!! hehe

Correct po kaya jan. Lam ninyo ba tuwang tuwa ko kse sa dati kong forum na sinalihan, inalis mga kalaswaan at sinita yung mga members na ginagawang greetings ang mga thread.....dumating kse sa puntong nag away away na yung mga members dahil magkakaiba opinyon nila. Tska oo nga, ung newbies somehow gumagawa ng sariling thread. Pansin ko lang naman.

I agree with global and ryan.. We post in the forum because we wanted to share our stuff and not for anything else.. If we impose that members should hit the thanks button first before they can download any file, this would only defeat the real purpose of Symbianize community.. And I think this is also one of the reasons why more members remain loyal to Symbianize despite the growing number of pinoy forums on the web.. Because here, members have more freedom and they all eventually become :csa:! :happy:

It seems na karamihan ng mga oldtimers sa SB kabisado na yung mga INs and OUTs. Pano naman yung mga newbies na gustong mag share, mag post or mag advise... Bakit hindi mag create the isang neophyte section para sa mga newbies kung saan medyo lax yung regulations at ikorek yung mga pagkakamali.. lam kong maraming gustong mag contribute dahil friendly ang dating nitong SB... more power guys.
