yan din matagal ko na tinatanong sa globe csr. inet apn is http.globe.com.ph, yung globe connect apn www.globe.com.ph. nag.ask din me globe cs bakit di pwede pa.activate inet sa extreme sim ko which iv been using for 2yrs na. iv tried inet using a friend's sim, starter sim yun, connect agad.

mas mabilis c0nnecti0n ng inet kesa sa connect at sa pagkakaalam ko ginagamit din ang inet pag ginagawang m0dem ang ph0ne pag mag iinternet gamit ang pc.

mas mabilis daw kumonek pag inet ang sim mu yun nga lang sa starter sim lang.... im using inet ngayon gamit ko sa pc ko... pansin ko lang pag naka cp mode ako hirap naman akong kumunek.... hmm..?bakit kaya...

INET works only if your sim is Starter/128K or if you call 211 and ask the CSR to activate your INET.

INET is faster than CONNECT and it allows changing of proxies/port. You can also use your phone as a modem with INET.

ive tried this path, to calling csr thru 211, pero sabi ng csr di daw supported motorola fone as modem. i doubt if that's thru. kc v6 ko lang di maka.connect, but my v3x has no problem. iba naman info with another csr, she help lang in manual configuration of myGlobe Internet pero 'internet.globe.com.ph' bigay na apn, di yung http.globe.com.ph. and when i ask if pwede sila mag.activate, hindi daw kasi limited access.:noidea:

P'wede 'yun. V3 ko nga dati nagagamit ko as modem, mabagal nga lang kasi walang 3G. Ganyan talaga ang ibang CSR, hindi alam ang services na ino-offer ng kumpanya nila. :rofl:

D'un naman sa APN na internet.globe.com.ph, sa postpaid sims lang nagana 'yun.

try ko tawag uli. panu to? 64k extreme mem sim lang? last effort before me decide to get starter sim. il just say na i.activate lang?

just had another conversation with globe csr, i asked the cs to create a report kasi di me maka.connect using http.globe na apn. confirmed ko rin na mali yung unang cs na di daw supported ang motorola as modem, kaya sinabi ko this time na pati 6120c ng mama ko di mka.connect. yun, gagawa daw report with 72hrs waiting time. 2 sim yung pina.activate ko. sabi rin ng cs, lahat daw ng globe sim pwede gumamit ng http.globe na apn.

naku yan din sinabi sakin ng globe cs nung paconfig ko yung motorola v975 ko ginawa ko na lang manual procedure pati sa samsung v720 ko manual ginawa ko pra magamit ko sa free browsing pro smart cs nabigyan ako ng configuration manual mna lang kung ako sayo

Globe INET having the APN(Access Point Name) of http.globe.com.ph is used for phones used as modem. (Although Phone applications also use this setting)

Globe Connect is used for WAP only.

Mas mabilis yung INET kesa sa CONNECT..

Pre-activated sa Globe Starter SIMs yung INET kasi sa GLOBE TATTO, Starter sims yung ginagamit. i think, sa globe tatto, http.globe.com.ph yung apn na gamit. (di lang ako sure).

tinawagan ko uli. this time medyo naintindihan me ng csr. sabi nya base on their system, updated at working daw yung internet sa sim ko. to make sure, ask ko anu apn working sa sim ko for pc browsing, yung http.globe.com.ph daw. advise lang nya na magload kasi tagal na di na.load yung sim ko. sana ok na

ask ko po if yung mga extreme memory na 128k ready na inet, anu pa po ba ibang inet ready aside from starter? may ofw sim din kasi at yung mahal na retailer sim. pag bago po ba saksak yung sim, papadala po ba settings yung globe?

im now using ofw sim, bigay ng friend ko. di nabenta at expired na last dec2008 pa. working ang inet. gumana rin yung inet sa family sim na kasama ng ofw sim pack. problema lang eh parang di na ata pwede gamitin both sim for txting at call.

xtreme sim.....? ang sa'kin eh xtreme bakit naaactivate? ang suerte ko pala :lol:
