Ever wondered why the wedding ring is placed on the fourth finger???
Please follow the steps below... (this is from a Chinese excerpt)
Firstly, show your palm, center finger bend and put together back to back
Second, the rest 4 fingers tips to tips
Games begin, follow the finger arrangement below, 5 finger but only 1 pair can split.

Try to open your thumb, the thumb represents parents, it can be opened because all human suffer from sickness and eventually dies.
Please close your thumb, then open your second finger, the finger represents brothers and sisters, they do have their own family... eventually, they will have to leave us too
Now close your second finger, open up your little finger, this represent your children. Sooner or later they too will leave us for they've got their own living to live
Nevertheless, close up your little finger, try to open your fourth finger which is where we place our wedding ring; you will be surprised to find that it cannot be open at all. Because it represent husband and wife, this whole life you will be attach to each other...
Real love will stick together forever and ever...

added info din po, i also read an article explaining that wedding rings are put in the fourth finger because it is where "vena amoris" or love vein is located, the vein that is connected to our heart, specifically in the left hand's fourth finger. but most couples put their rings on the right kc kpag sa kaliwa daw bka mangaliwa (nyeh!) :ohno: but be it on the ring finger in the left or right hand, what counts is the couple's commitment to each other that is proven not by rings or marriage certificates, but by mutual love and respect for each other.
