I Already Edit and Customize SMS Tone So the Iphone Can Use it as SMS tone..Lets Start.

What We Need:
JailBroken Iphone any Version
IphoneBrowser Or Winscp
Respring - Download in Cydia or ICY (Optional)
Download the attachment Below

1.) Connect your Iphone To IphoneBrowser or Winscp
2.) If you are Already connected, Look For system > library > audio > UIsounds
3.) Now in this Folder UIsounds Look For this Format:

sms-received1.caf
sms-received2.caf
sms-received3.caf
sms-received4.caf
sms-received5.caf
sms-received6.caf

4.) Rename This file Dont Delete, this is your BackUp rename it sample sms-received11.caf
5.) Unrar the Tone that you download here and drag and drop the sms-received1.caf in UIsound folder thats It.

Note: In your Iphone SMS tone there are ONly 6 SMS tone
this are tri-tone, Chime, Glass, Horn, Bell, Electronic..Here the Guide What IPhone SMS tone That you change:

sms-received1.caf - Tri-tone
sms-received2.caf - Chime
sms-received3.caf - Glass
sms-received4.caf - Horn
sms-received5.caf - Bell
sms-received6.caf - Electronic

6.) In this Guide you Change your sms-received1.caf this is Tri -tone..
7.) So Goto Settings Sounds > New Text Message > Click Tri-tone and the New SMS tone is Change

Note: If you Dont Here a Sound After you Click What you Change, Reboot your Iphone or Respring It!

first hindi ko pa mahanap ang UIsound under sa >library>audio>UIsound

ang ginawa ko punta ako sa GoToLocation then click ang UIsound menu

ang gamit ko po ay iPhoneBrowser_v1.9

good job sir,,, but you forgot to include on how to convert audio files to "CAF FORMAT".... sa akin sir ibang paraan ang ginagawa ko,, ang gingawa ko lang ay isama sa Themes folder yong uisounds na gusto kong maging ringtone.... then apply..... ok na ringtone ko.......sir ask ko lang kung meron kang alam na paraan para gumana yong keyboard at Messages background or themes for firmware version 3.0

yap pwede yun Create a folder Sample "MySMSTone" inside the Folder create a folder again this is UIsounds, you can put the file sms-received1.caf to sms-received6.caf, then put this in Folder that you created MySMSTone sa Var>stash>themes

About your Inquiry On how DO i do it...ok you need 2 software Absolute MP3 Splitter and Easy CD-DA Extractor..meron nyan dito sa symbianize application section..so san kapa kompleto rito..di na kailangan lumayo..

Absolute MP3 Splitter - ito yung pang split nyo ng SMS tone, cguro naman ayaw nyo na na open nyo na yung message nyo natunog parin SMS tone nyo..kailangan nyan importante yan..
Easy CD-DA Extractor - This is a very nice converter i give it 9 of 10 this one is the best converter for .aiff file..

you don need the convertion sa .caf, i tell you the secret..after you convert the MP3 file to .aiff file all you have to do is re name it to .caf, HOW

1.) goto control panel
2.) switch to classic view
3.) Look for Folder Option > View > uncheck "hide extensions for known file types"
4.) Now you can rename you .aiff file to .caf
You dont need the converter for .caf, teka diba nasa TUT na binigay ko sa youtube yan lahat..
NOTE: kung uncheck nyo yung "hide extensions for known file types" make sure na pag katapos nyo ma rename yung SMStone na gusto nyo, check it again, baka kasi accidentaly ma rename nyo yung ibang files nyo..safety first :lol:

@ Mcmms ,,,, i got your point,,,, matagal ko ng sinubukan mag gawa ng sms tone for iphone but no luck,,,, ngayon ko ko lng na laman na kailangan pala; from MP3 format ay e convert muna into aiff format,, then reverse the format into ...CAF.... thanks sir ,,,,,,,,, i used DISKaID program to browse or put some themes....... dito ako sanay,,, kasi iphone browser doesn't support firmware 3.0

Baka may problema sa kanya ang iphonebrowser..sa mga nabasa ko yung iba may ok sa kanina ang WinSCP, saka itunnel and tunnel..

For me iphonebrowser ok..no probleam rin ako dito..

here is one trick para gumawa ng custom ringtone using your existing songs sa itunes.

1. pumili ka ng kanta na gusto mo gawin ringtone.
2. right click mo tapos piliin ang "get info"
3. sa lumabas na dialog box, piliin mo ung options tab
4. makikita mo yung start and stop time, icheck mo pareho
5. palitan mo yung time na gusto mo basta 20 seconds lang yata yun. try mo na lang.
6. click ok
7. tapos right click again and choose "create AAC version"
8. drag mo yung file sa desktop mo tapos palitan mo ang file extension to .m4r
9. ngayon pwede mo nang idrag sa ringtones sa itunes then sync sa iphone.

im using anyring app para sa ringtone.. i think complete ang song

Sinubukan kodin yung anyring pero ayaw gumana sa akin. Ilang beses ko pinaring phone ko, yung default pa rin na ringtone ang lumalabas.

Ringtone ba ang sinasabi ninyo..adhok & jolay? hindi nyo na kailangan ng software to do that..just use itune to customize your ring tone..

kung sms tone naman, you need a converter MP3 to aiff, then rename it to .caf

yun nga. ung anyring daw kase, capable to use the whole song to be your ringtone unlike itunes na 20 sec lang.

ni rename ko yung sms-received11, tpos sms-received22, then ska ko nirename yung new sms tone ko... ng sms-received1, tpaos sms-received2... tapos ng drag and drop ako... wla nmn tumutunog
