Eerie Caveman Ghost

This ghostly picture was taken by tourist Simon Howard during a visit to the prehistoric caves at Kents Cavern in England. In it the outline of a man's face can be seen, wearing what looks like a helmet with nose-guard, and surrounded by a strange mist that Howard claims was not there when the photo was snapped.

Ghost Cat

My friend's cat, Squeak, died on New Year's Eve 2007. She was a well loved pet and her passing was very hard on them. The next day her daughter was testing the camera on her new cell phone and decided to take a photo of the chair where her cat had loved to sit. When she reviewed the photo she found this image. They were very surprised, but also comforted that Squeak seemed to still be with them.

Ghostly Visitor

My friend through the Ouija board had a feeling there was a "ghost" in her home. After discussing it with her and just hanging out at her home she decided to get her digital camera just to take various pictures around the house (October 19, 2008). I am sitting on the sofa just watching her take pictures and she aimed the camera towards me because I usually feel energies other than my own. This is the shot she got with her camera. We zoomed in on the photo (seen on the right) with much amazement and chills to see the results. We thought the blue aura was cool in inself.

Hospital Ghost

This photo was taken at the old military hospital in St. Augustine, FL in June of '08 (St. Augustine is the oldest city in the U.S.) Many people suffered amputations without anesthesia in unsanitary conditions. A young girl was the hospital "surgeon" when they were overcrowded with Spanish soldiers and removed countless limbs from patients.

I was standing in front of a closed door that led to the patient area while the tour guide was speaking. I felt as if the room was slowly spinning and I felt odd and off balance. ( I am a sensitive.) Before leaving I snapped a photo of the door which was a solid wooden door with nothing on it. I did not see these images with my naked eye, but they were there when the photo was developed.

Shadow Man

This photo was taken on November 15, 2008 by the Paranormal Activity Testing Society during an investigation of the West Virginia Penitentiary (Moundsville Prison). This photo was taken in the cafeteria just 2 hours into the investigation. When this photo was taken, there were only 3 of our investigators present and no one else.

For those of you not familiar with the set up of the room, I will try to explain. RW was sitting in the floor, against the wall and would have been behind the figure. Pamela, the one who took the photo, was also sitting down in the floor asking questions in attempts to gather some EVP and snapping random photos. Patrick, our lead investigator, was standing against the wall on the far right. He was shining an IR light across the room so that Pamela could take photos. We asked "Can you show us were you are by making some noise?" they heard something that sounded like shuffling feet. That is when Pamela snapped the photo.

During a break, we skimmed through our photos and VOILA!! There he was! We are still just amazed. And notice the similarities between our Shadow man and the infamous hallway Shadow man captured by the prison's resident paranormal investigator.

'Alien' Sewer Creature

An unknown lifeform was recently filmed clinging to the crevices of a North Carolina sewer. The pulsating blob shied away from the light as a snakecam passed through the pipes, prompting speculation that an 'alien' creature had been found. Ed Buchan, environmental coordinator at the Raleigh Public Utilities Department, has confirmed the slimy sacs are actually a colony of worms.

Ethereal Eavesdropper

I was talking to my sister on Skype when this face suddenly appeared behind her. I quickly hit the "take a picture" button and was able to capture it. I promise you, it's not photoshopped. I wouldn't even know where to begin. I would be interested in hearing opinions.

These photos were taken on an South Jersey Ghost Research investigation on 3/26/08 by Dave Juliano on 2nd floor of the Burlington County Prison Museum pointing toward the stair way to the right of the death row cell. Camera used was a FE100 Olympus digital camera mounted to a Yukon Night Vision Scope Multi-Task 2X24 YK24021 with the infrared illuminator on. This scope and camera were on stationary tripod.

We know that digital cameras can capture infrared light which regular 35mm cameras will not without special film and/or filters. Combining the digital camera along with a nightscope and it's infrared illuminator makes it possible to see things that the human eye cannot naturally see.

Lisa said, "Last Friday I took a group of sixth graders to Washington, DC for a class trip. I take this trip every year, and remembered that you can't take regular pictures of most of the things in Washington due to the fear of the flash fading the old paintings and documents. I borrowed my dad's digital camera, brought with me three 64 mega bite disks, and turned the flash function off whenever we were inside. (I found last year that the pictures were not as good when the flash was on.) I took roughly 135 pictures and deleting 9 due to people walking in front of the camera. Every picture came out exactly as expected given the environment that we were in except for one."

Dr. Dave's Notes:
Lisa is right, digital cameras cannot double expose onto the same frame, it is impossible. She was using no flash, I believe she captured someone who may be associated with this area. Perhaps one of our viewers might be able to identify him.

Lookling at the picture the "person" has no legs. Usually double exposures will pretty much be the whole body under that circumstance from my experience. Here is the beauty of it, Micky (my manager) and his wife followed up with all the guests to ID the mystery man, and no one knows him."

It has the head of a black gentleman above my daughter's shoulder. The TV screen is visible on the left and you can make out the edge of the tv screen slightly to her right. Then, beyond that, is the large face of this man. I have never seen him and he was not in my home at the time that the picture was taken. Notice the head area and the ectoplasm streamers lifting off the head. Also note the shadow cast the this apparition! I have cropped the original photo and deleted out the wall space to the right of the curtains. I have only adjusted the contrast for this photo so it is easier to view. This is one of the first true apparition photo that I have viewed where the body of the spirit is human shape and yet transparent in areas.

Wow, what can I say. These are very strange and eerie photos of who knows what. They don't look human nor like an animal. Look at the elongated neck with the bulging veins! Could this be an alien life form captured on film? My first impression was to make a judgement of something from the depths of hell, but that is simply the fear of the unknown. Instead of making judgements, we should approach this with an open mind and not condemn because of our individual bias. This is a good example of keeping an open mind, free of judgmental attitudes and cultural beliefs. What is your guess?

Leslie said, "The first photo was taken in March of 1977, of myself and brother washing my dad's car in front of our house. That house was a center of a murder investigation when a teen age boy was shot dead. He was breaking and entering and the son shot him. It happened in summer of 1971. This old photo was submitted by Lois Schmidt of Portland, OR. She took this photo about 1972 in her home in Kent, Washington. She was taking a picture of her dog playing on the lawn in the back of her house. She took the picture through the open door and did not see the face nor what appears to be a grave and grave marker that showed up on her photo. The second photo is an enlargement of the first photograph. The ghostly face is visible with details, such an eye, nose and mouth and a high forehead with long flowing hair. This is not a reflection from inside the house because it was not taken through a window.
Sharon and I were speaking at a private home where the owner had assembled friends and friends who had questions about ghosts. During our discussion, this picture was presented for evaluation by us. It is an amazing photograph. Some of the views expressed by those present were as follows: A departed spirit? An alien? A dimensional Bigfoot? What do you think?

Nate said, "The picture was taken on the east doors of the Salt Lake City Temple on my parents wedding day. Only one roll of film was used by a professional photographer. We was driving up the canyon one day after they were developed and we noticed that only one of the pictures had figures in it, and the strange thing is that all those figures look like our dead relatives. We have pictures to prove that. Also that was the only picture out of all of them that turned out like that."

This amazing photo shows Maryland's mother getting an eye exam and the doctor has a transparent hand and ectoplasm around his head. Also notice his arm and the vertical rod that is visible through his arm. Also notice his forehead, again some equipment can be seen. The lady who was getting this exam died a short time later.

I’d like to share a photo with you that was taken in our Diego Silang Building, room S525. When I first saw this photo, I was very scared due to the image of a girl standing at the back of the persons who are in this photo. (Names of persons involved will not be revealed due to private reason. Besides, I don't know those people who are in the picture. Haha.) Anyway, I am not, I repeat, I am NOT in this photo.
