Cast:

* Mia Wasikowska as Alice. Tim Burton states: "We met a lot of people, but she just had that certain kind of emotional toughness, standing her ground in a way that makes her kind of an older person but with a younger person's mentality."
* Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter
* Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. Carter's head will be increased in size by three times on screen.
* Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. Her character does not require digital manipulation.[6] Hathaway summed up her character with a caption on a magnet of Happy Bunny holding a knife she was given; "Cute but psycho. Things even out."
* Michael Sheen as the White Rabbit
* Alan Rickman as the Caterpillar. Rickman was filmed while recording his voice in a studio, and his face will be composited onto a computer-generated character.
* Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat.
* Matt Lucas as Tweedledum and Tweedledee
* Christopher Lee as the Jabberwock
* Crispin Glover as the Knave of Hearts
* Eleanor Tomlinson as Fiona Chataway, an unfriendly girl Alice knows before she falls down the rabbit hole.

* Lindsay Duncan as Alice's mother
* Leo Bill as Hamish

Another collaboration between Johnny Depp and Tim Burton!

Left 5 Dead - Left 4 Dead Live action movie (hot!)

http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/2594/33789022979503c266a1.jpg

Last month the Night Zero team took some time away from our regular schedule and produced a special homage to a new zombie video game, “Left 4 Dead“. Produced by the incredible team at Valve, the folks responsible for Half-Life, Counterstrike, Team Fortress, and Portal, this newest team-based shooter pits four survivors against hordes of the undead, in what is possibly the most brilliant execution of a zombie apocalypse game to date.

Unlike most modern games, where players can create their characters from a wide range of bodies, clothings, faces, and personalities, in Left 4 Dead there are only (and always the same) four survivors. This unusual design choice creates a unique play experience, as all players around the world become intimately familiar with these four characters—their voices, their mannerisms, they way they laugh and they way they panic. By forcing the millions of gamers to live as these four survivors, Valve has created a set of universal heroes, instantly recognizable to anyone who’s sat down with Left 4 Dead. Heroes that the team of Night Zero would sit down with as well, in our own special way.

Thanks to the wide networks of the Night Zero production team, getting a cast together that resembled the four characters was challenging but successful. Each of the survivors is very idiosyncratic and different, but none is beyond the everyday person, so pulling together costumes and props was no more difficult than any other Night Zero shoot. For a location with a range of backdrops and settings, we returned to the warehouse where the middle of Episode One was shot, and to match the game’s selection, we pulled together all the weaponry we could get our hands on.

Conan The Barbarian

http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/9056/conanthebarbarianposter.jpg

Title: Conan the Barbarian
Genre: Action/Adventure/Fantasy
Directed by: Brett Ratner (Rumored)
Written by:
Dirk Blackman (Screenplay),
Robert E. Howard (Character)
Budget: $
Status: Pre-Production
Movie Releases: TBA 2010

Conan the Barbarian (aka Conan the Cimmerian, from the name of his homeland, Cimmeria) is a famous character of heroic fantasy created by American writer Robert E. Howard in 1932 via a series of fantasy stories sold to Weird Tales magazine
Since his debut Conan has been adapted to many other supports from comic book to tv, video game and cinema.

A new Conan movie has been decided with a release set for (2009) 2010.

Abilities

Despite his brutish appearance, Conan uses his brain as well as his brawn. The Cimmerian is a talented fighter, but his travels have given him vast experience in other trades, especially as a thief; he is also a talented commander, tactician and strategist, as well as a born leader. In addition, Conan speaks many languages, including advanced reading and writing abilities: in certain stories, he is able to recognize, or even decipher, certain ancient or secret signs and writings. He also has a lot of stamina which enables him to go without sleep for a few days.

Another noticeable trait is his sense of humor, largely absent in the comics and movies but very much a part of Howard's original vision of the character, particularly apparent in "Xuthal of the Dusk," also known as "The Slithering Shadow." He is a loyal friend to those true to him, with a barbaric code of conduct that often marks him as more honorable than the more sophisticated people he meets in his travels. Indeed, his straightforward nature and barbarism are constants in all the tales.

Conan is a formidable armed and unarmed combatant. With his back to the wall Conan is capable of engaging and killing opponents by the score. This is seen in several stories, such as "Queen of the Black Coast", "The Scarlet Citadel" and "A Witch Shall be Born". Conan is not superhuman, though; he did need the providential help of Zelata's wolf to defeat four Nemedian soldiers in the story The Hour of the Dragon. Some of his hardest victories have come from fighting single opponents of inhuman strength: one such as Thak, the ape man from "Rogues in the House," or the strangler Baal-Pteor in "Shadows in Zamboula." Conan is far from untouchable and has been captured and defeated several times (on one occasion knocking himself out drunkenly running into a wall).

Title: Thor

Jack Kirby (Characters),
Stan lee (Chraracters)
Starring:
Chris Hemsworth as Thor
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury
Statust: Pre-Production
Movies 2011: May 20, 2011

Well those representations of Thor may seem kind of naive nowadays. But we can be sure the Thor movie director Kenneth Branagh and screenwriter Mark Protosevich are working on is going to be much more up to date, in the wake of superhero movies like Spiderman, the Incredible Hulk, or the Dark Knight.

Post ko lng po ung nabasa ko...

* Screenwriter Mark Protosevich developed a script for a live-action Thor film. In December 2007, he described his plans for it "to be like a superhero origin story, but not one about a human gaining super powers, but of a god realizing his true potential. It's the story of an Old Testament god who becomes a New Testament god". In December 2008, Kenneth Branagh confirmed to MTV News that he has been hired to direct the film. He described it as "a human story right in the center of a big epic scenario.” In February 2009, it was reported that Samuel L. Jackson has signed on to play Nick Fury in the film as part of an unprecedented nine-picture deal with Marvel Studios. In May 2009, Branagh stated that he hopes to begin filming in January 2010. Marvel Studios also announced in May 2009 that Loki would be played by actor Tom Hiddleston, who has worked with Branagh in the past. The film has a scheduled release date of May 20, 2011.

* Thor will be featured in a live-action Avengers film executive produced by Jon Favreau. The film has a scheduled release date of May 4, 2012.

LA Daily News reports that X-Men executive producer Lauren Shuler Donner is currently working on the cast for a 4th installment in the movie franchise. Renegotiations would be needed to secure the main stars of the previous three films.

Donner says "The newer cast members are signed, and the older cast members are not." Considering the older names involved -- Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Romijn, Famke Janssen and Anna Paquin -- that could run into a huge chunk of money.

All that's putting the cart before the wolverine, of course, since Hugh Jackman is set to reprise his role as the manicure-challenged mutant superhero in his own film. "Next, we're going to do 'Wolverine,' but not before the end of the year because he's in the Baz Luhrmann film," she says of the filmmaker's untitled Australian epic with Nicole Kidman. However, "We have the script and are working on it."

Shuler Donner reports, "We also have 'Young Magneto' in development."

"X-Men: First Class" is expected to inject a next-gen sensibility into the superhero series. - The studio has been leaning toward using the younger characters introduced in the previous films in future installments --teenagers with powers taught at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning.

Resulting film would likely draw from elements of the Marvel Comic of the same name, launched in 2006, and enlist such characters as Iceman, Rogue, Angel, Colossus, Jubilee and Shadowcat, who have appeared prominently or made cameos in prior pics.

This Film premieres in 2010.
