Medyo magulo po yung tanong, Globe modem then pagagnahin sa Tattoo? Kung ganon ang kaso, wala ka ng babaguhin sa profile or no need for additional profile kasi as far as I know same lang yung settings non.

But if you're referring for smart and you are using a smart prepaid sim, hindi po gagana ang SMARTBRO for APN unless you're using a smartbro sim. Ganito po ang tamang setting for smart(prepaid):

profile name: smart (optional)
click static
apn:internet
access number: *99#
click advance
click "PAP"
save

then on the drop down menu of your broadband, select the profile name na ginawa mo then click connect. Just make sure lang na merong at least 1 peso load at activated na ang gprs ng smart sim mo. To do this text
MMS ON send to 3401

kung nagawa mo na lahat yan then still nag eerror pa rin, select gsm only on your broadband setting, once connected idisconnect mo kaagad then quickly select wcdma preferred then hit connect..take note you must quick as a fox in doing these.

sa smartbro na lng yun hindi mkaconnect, sa globe and sun wla nama problem, yun keyword lang yun hinahanap ko pra maiactivate yun sim ng smart, MMS ON send to 3401 wla nman reply yun smart

For SUN: (activate your SUN sim for internet use)
To activate, type ACTIVATE and send to 2300

For GLOBE: (activate your Globe sim for internet use)
To activate, type TIME and send to 1111

bakit kailangan pa ng phone model? di katulad sa globe at sun, pwede ba sa 1100 yan?.

@lorenz, Since hindi po sayo gumana yung "MMS ON send to 3401" then your other recourse is to put the sim into a gprs/3g capable phone then try to activate using this method. hindi po pwede sa 1100.

same tau ng problem..unlocked na tattoo tas my signal na pro gprs lang..no 3g signal..i searched the registration mode sa network pro 2g lang talaga nakalagay..
