Silence filled the air
As you stand there and stare
Tears in your eyes
The question is why?
That’s what I ask myself
As the phone rang that night
Hoping it was him
Praying with all my might
I picked up the phone
And his voice I did not hear
Something dripped on my lap
I noticed a tear
You hurt me
How could you is all I could say
Crying in my sleep
As all the fun we had together slipped away
I couldn’t stand to be alive
I wanted to be gone
And I was
Now you stand crying over my grave
Your fault that I’m gone
