that's why i was able to write this poem instantly

i really miss you, babe, i can't express how much
i still have this guilty feeling inside me
that makes me wonder and feel sad
thinking whether i did the right thing or not

leaving you was one of the hardest decisions i've done
i have this fear inside me about you all the time
i, literally, felt that my heart broke that day
i was so speechless, i just cried along the way

it's been almost six years since that tearful day
but to me, it seems just like yesterday
you're still the little one i left behind
and for me you'll always remain that way

i love you, babe, bear that in your mind
you're the most wonderful gift i've ever had
no matter what others may say about us
i'tll always be you and me for the rest of our lives

i'd like to thank you for being such a good kid
there never was a time i felt you're misguided
knowing that you're leading a straight path
makes all these sacrifices worth it

wow! that's really sweet and touching.. my mother is working abroad
and it seems like i can feel her telling those same things to me
each day that we're apart..:weep:
