Ladies and Gentle Men of Symbianize.com I am proud to anounce
that our graphic arena is officially open..

this thread is to test your graphic artist skills further by giving out a challenge to a fellow symbianizer artist by the means of a signature battle.

Ang thread na ito ay may layuning makapamahagi ng interest sa iba pang would be graphic artist sa pag-linang ng kanilang talento sa pagdesign at sa sining, magbigay ng tiwala sa kanyang mga obra, magkaroon ng tibay ng loob upang ipamahagi ang naaangking karunungan, at tiwala sa sarili.

nais ko pong ipaalam ang aking mga patakaran sa pagsali at pagbigay ng challenge sa ating mga kapatid na artist.

UNA sa lahat ay ang pag sunod po natin sa patakaran ng ating dakilang symbianize.com sa pagpost sa thread na ito..

PANGALAWA ay respeto sa lahat ng staff. mga Admins/Owners/Moderators/Members etc.

PANGATLO ay wag maging mayabang bawal mangaway dito, hindi purkit battle grounds eto e sakitan ang laro. pakirespeto ang ating kachallenge lahat po tyo dito ay nais matuto.

PANG-APAT ay wag mandaya. kung nais mong mandaya OK lang. alam ng Dyos ang iyong ginawa naway makunsensya ka sa gagawin mo.

PANG-LIMA ay ang directions sa ating pagkuha ng challenger..

a) mas mabuting makausap PM or maka shout nyo ang ating
hahamunin. sya ay maaring kaibigan nyo o isang ka symbianise na naghahamon din. basta walang away ha.

b) ako ang tatayung host sa thread na ito kailangan nyo akong PM sa napag kasunduan nyo. icoconfirm ko ang availability ng taong iyong hinamon, kng ayaw nya man pumayag hindi ko igagrant ang challenge schedule nyo. (kya masmaganda talaga kung nakicoordinate na kyo sa isa't-isa)

c) ang CHALENGER ang magbibigay ng terms sa classe ng laban.. pwedeng freestyle (anything goes any effects), c4d (gagamit ng c4d), fractal, vector, grunge, etc. ang CHALENGER din po ang magproprovide ng image na gagamitin (mas mainam kung render na pero it depends sa inyo) basta lahat ng terms ang CHALLENGER ang gagawa.

ex: :)
style: freestyle
size: optional
date ng deadline: (kami maglalagay kung masyadong matagal)
kyu pong bahala kung anu pang terms basta dadaan pa naman sakin lahat yan.

ang CHALLENGED naman walang ibang gagawin kundi pumayag o tumanggi.

PANG-ANIM ay ang pagsubmit ng gawa.

a) ang inyung gawa ay PM din sakin saka ko ilalagay sa thread na ito. (kung wala kyu tiwala sakin oki lng di naman ako ang magdedecide ng panalo eto ay ang mga fellow symbianizers din natin sa pamamagitan ng kanilang boto sa thread na ito.) if ever na hindi umabot sa takdang panahon ng submission automatic ang panalo ng CHALLENGER.

b) kung ang CHALLENGER ay humiling ng pagpost ng PSD file ng kanilang gawa bilang isang condisyon isama nyo narin sa PM ang link ng PSD upang makita ng mga voters ang inyung gnawa.

PANG-PITO ay ang voting. ang pagboto ay gagawin lamang dito sa thread na ito at tanging BOTO lang ang dapat ipost dito.
ang botohan ay magsisimula sa takdang araw sa schedule ng laban matapos kong ipost ang gawa ng ating mga CHALLENGERS.

ako po ay gagawa ng separate na thread para sa DISCUSSION ukol sa BATTLEGROUNDS para hindi tyo makalat at masita ng ating mabubuting MODs.

ang unang 10 boto ang tatanghaling panalo at akin ding pong personal na ipapakita sa ating 3 graphic artist ang inyung mga gawa upang sila ay bumoto rin..

PAALALA LANG PO SA MGA BOTANTE... HINDI MAGIGING VALID ANG BOTO KUNG WALANG PALIWANAG KUNG BAKIT SYA ANG PINILI NYO.. sa ganitong paraan makikita at malalaman ng mg mga CHALLENGERS ang kulang at dapat linangin sa kanilang mga OBRA.

bigboii's siggy shows deep emotion.. the BG reminds me of castlevana ehehe.. or is it just my imagination.. ehehe..
nice work on blending of effects..

angels_cry's siggy also shows emotions.. he used the color that suits ginji's power.. or atleast i think the render is ginji.. or am i mistaken..eheheh it also has good effects.. but still feels something is missing.. i dunno.. maybe some more effects..

hmm.. ok.. MVG to bigboii. nice blending..and the BG is really an attention grabber..

my vote goes to angel. just like the colors. ang the strip on the left side looks good.

i'd go for the blue one made by angels_cry it's great love the colors it's so alive...love the blue and the scattered...crystals...it's really great...!!:)

bigboii sig is balance in terms of feeling up the space which is lacking in angel's siggy.

angels_cry sig is emotional (i cant stop looking at it) which makes bigboii's sig look overcrowded.

overall, i choose angels_cry..

other reasons:
1. though simple, the effects are well blended (bigboii haven't blend it well)
2. the border is appropriate (better than bigboii's shadow effect)
3. the color is average (hindi masakit sa mata)
4. if i have to choose, i select it as my sig
5. although it feels like empty, i understand it more of what angel wants to conceptualize than of bigboii

ok yung colors na ginamit nya
like the brushes na ginamit nya to blend with the render
like the simplicity of the siggy (not too overcrowded and konting effects lang)

:think: very common na yung kay angel pero very nice combination angel gusto ko rin sya..pero i go for big nice blending and effect..

i'll vote for bigboii.. like the use of synched color style.. good approach. though i think sana nilagyan nya ng light source compared sa text sa left part ng design para mas naging striking ung design. ;)

the 2nd battle..

on angels sig.. angels did not resize the render very well..
but the render is well blended.. the depth is nice.. and nice use of pentool.

on CH sig.. has a different style.. nice work on the BG..
but i think the render did not blend well on the BG..

magaling ung pggamit ni angels ng pentool, mganda ng combination with the background color pero parang may kulang eh, di ko lang alam kung anu.. kng sa sinigang pa, kulang ng asim..:peace: :giggle:

ang hirap bomoto :slap: kay angels trip ko kulay ng blending nya.. pero di maxado na resize yung render.. yung pen tool na paggamit ni Nagels aus din kaya lang prang di nafollow ang flow ng sig kasi dapat pacircle so kaya lng pra di matabunan ang mukha hindi nya tinuloy yung flow ng paggamit nya ng pentool... kay CH di ko maxado na-appreciate yung kulay ng background.... aus pagka-resize ng render.... yung effects ng mga feather prang di ko maxado na-appreciate...

CH, ok rin yung sa yo...only AC gmv kasi ang aspect na tiningnan ko ay ang concept o ang gustong ipahitawig ng siggy... nahirapan lng kasi akong i-interprete ang ibig sabihin ng siggy mo (but my initial idea sa concept mo is parang malungkot ang dating ng render)... overall, job well done rin sa yo bro...

+ the concept is good.. nice blending of the render to the background.. good focal point.. :thumbsup:
- stretched render and overcontrasted :slap:



i like the clarity of CH signature but lacks blending..
angels_cry and CH have the same concept "Sad/ Lonely" because that's the emotion of the render but CH background doesn't fits well with the concept because the BG color is lively. i can feel more emotion in angels_cry siggy than on CH siggy.. Good Luck!
