im using blackberry 9530 storm... Data plan for blackberry is available sa globe and smart and recently sa sun. pede ka magprepaid (globe) to use the blackberry internet service (BIS) (50pesos/24hours) unlimited browsing. what separates Blackberry to other handsets is the push email technology wherein lahat ng email mo straight mo marerecieve sa Blackberry device mo, plus the BB msgr which is exclusive sa lahat ng blackberry users un nga lang kailangan you have a data plan for this one. I really appreciated my blackberry when i was abroad last summer, ive used a local sim sa South Africa and bought a data plan ( 300 pesos for a month unlimited BIS using Vodacom, as compared sa globe sa atin na 1500/month), 24/7 for a month im online so i'm still connected sa mga relatives ko sa pinas without using a roaming im na pagkamahal ng charges. Bilis ng email, para ka lang nakikipagtext. even the downloads is superb, mas mabilis pa sa local connection sa south africa since all the data is routed sa private servers ng blackberry sa canada. looking forward na dumami blackberry users dito sa atin.....

bb phone is great not only great but the best phone i ever had.
