WinAMP v5.35 (http://www.symbianize.com/showpost.php?p=105498&postcount=436)
Transcoder_v2.0a.exe (http://www.srcf.ucam.org/~wdhf2/transcoder/)

First install mo ang WinAMP v5.35 then install mo ang Transcoder_v2.0a.exe

Right-click song or songs in playlist
choose Send to:
choose Transcode

encode to:
MP4/aacPlus (HE-AAC) Encoder v1.21

Bitrate:
32 kbps

Channel Mode:
Stereo

Finish..:D

Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) is a standardized, lossy compression and encoding scheme for digital audio. AAC is considered the successor to the MP3 format by MP3’s creator, Fraunhofer IIS.

Depending on the encoder used, AAC generally achieves better sound quality than MP3 at the same bitrate, particularly below 192 kbit/s.[1]

AAC’s most famous usage is as the default audio format of Apple's iPhone, iPod, iTunes, and the format used for all iTunes Store audio (with extensions for proprietary Digital Rights Management (DRM) where used).

AAC is also the standard audio format for Sony’s PlayStation 3, the MPEG-4 video standard, and several digital radio initiatives (see Digital Radio Mondiale.)

I agree with marky and lancelot...and kung nokia ang cellphone mo meron converter sila kasama sa PC Suite "transfer music" and tawag alam ko gagana din yun na compress na music nun sa ericsson and thats what i use in SE P990i..enjoy mate..hope the problem solve:clap:

MPEG-4 aacPlus (high efficiency advanced audio coding plus/HE aacplus) is the combination of three MPEG technologies comprising Advanced Audio Coding (AAC), coupled with Coding Technologies' Spectral Band Replication (SBR), and Parametric Stereo (PS) technologies. SBR is a unique bandwidth extension technique which enables audio codecs to deliver the same quality at half the bit rate. PS significantly increases the codec efficiency a second time for low bit rate stereo signals.

SBR and PS are both forward and backward compatible methods to enhance the efficiency of any audio codec. As a result, aacPlus delivers streaming and downloadable 5.1 multi-channel audio at 128 kbps, near CD-quality stereo at 32 kbps, excellent quality stereo at 24 kbps, and good quality for mixed content even below 16 kbps mono. This level of efficiency fundamentally enables new applications in the markets of mobile and digital broadcast.

Features
• True Superset architecture
• Multi-channel support for 5.1, 7.1 and beyond (48 channels total)
• Built-in error concealment for mobile applications
• CD-quality stereo down to 48 kbps
• Near CD-quality stereo at 32 kbps
• Excellent quality stereo down to 24 kbps
• Widest available audio bandwidth
• Optimized speech, mixed speech/music down to 8 kbps mono
• Compliant with ISO/IEC 14496-3, incl. Amd.1:2003, Amd.2:2004, and all corrigenda

The members of the aacPlus codec family
aacPlus is the latest MPEG-4 Audio technology. aacPlus v1 is the combination of AAC and SBR, standardized as the High-Efficiency profile in MPEG-4 (HE AAC). aacPlus v2 builds on the strong success story of aacPlus v1 and adds value in all fields where highest compression efficiency for stereo signals is mission-critical. aacPlus v2 is a true superset of aacPlus v1, as aacPlus v1 is of AAC. With the addition of Parametric Stereo in MPEG, aacPlus v2 is the state-of-the-art low bit rate open standards audio codec.

Probably the best and fastest way of converting files to the HE-AAC v2 is as follows:

1. Get the free (it’ll suffice – no need for the commercial, Pro one), Full version of WinAMP.

2. Mass-select the songs you’d like to convert in the upper right corner of the window (that is, the individual song list), right-click and go to Send To: / Format converter:

3. set the parameters

Make sure you double-check you set “Channel mode” to Parametric Stereo so that version 2 of HE-AAC will be used, not just the plain version 1. Also, instead of 32 kbps, you might also want to go for 48 kbps for slightly increased sound quality. But no more: over 48 kbps, HE-AAC v2 will revert to v1 (Parametric Stereo won’t be used any more).

After this, you can easily start the mass-conversion by pressing OK. The results (.AAC files), by default, will be stored in the directory specified in the uppermost text input field. They can be directly played back by Music Player in newer N-series Nokias natively supporting the format (the N95, N81, N82 etc.)
