Karafun is Spyware/Virus free as long as you download it directly from their site.

Include here are my collections of kar files which I convert into jar applications for cp (Karaoke for CP). If you want to use the kar files for karafun or van basco, simply extract the jar apps and copy/save the kar files inside the applications.

I am a professional music/midi producers for years now specialized in karaoke songs. Ang mga ginagawa nga lang namina ay puro pang international ( Japanese, Spanish, Indian etc.). Yung mga OPM karaoke songs kasi, minsan underground work para mas makamura. Alam mo yun individuals lang at hindi companies. Usually kasi mga Chinese and Koreans ang investors sa ganitong business gusto nilang makamura kaya notice the quality ng ibang naglalabasang MIDI players ngaun ang papangaint ng music paano mass produced. Anyway, let me answer some of your questions:

- It's almost imposiible to find a huge collection of OPM karaokes (kar, MIDI etc.) specially kung ang hanap nyo ay katulad ng sound ng magic sing at yung mga hinuhulugan (except kung may arrangers dyan na magpost sa internet ng kanyang sariling likha). Entertech, Kum Young etc. sila ang mga companies na gumagawa ng mga songs at malaki ang kanilang investment dyan. They embed the files directly into the hardware ( magic sing, karaoke players). Nakausap ko yung kumpare kong ECE na nagwowork sa semiconductor company at hindi talaga nila ma ectract yung mga songs. May mga bagong DVD players ngaun na may built-in karaoke songs (10-20,000 songs) ng lang pangit ang quality ( mababa lang kasi silang magbayad ng music arrangers).

- yung mga dvd na kasama ng mga players (hyundai atbp.) wala po doon ang mga kanta. I think those dvd's are for the songlist/lyrics purposes only, not sure. Pero definitely wala dun ang kanta. Naka embed sa player yun. Kung meron mang nakapag extract ng kanta from those dvd's eh di sana kumalat na po yun sa internet.


But for english songs po, merong file format for karaoke na very cool ang sound. Almost real and I really like it kasi may mga Heavy Metal songs. Sa mga di nakakaalam, it's MP3+g file or CDG files for cd's. The only thing is, sa laptop or pc lang pwedeng iplay. Merong nabibiling CDG player pero sa abroad pa binibili and medyo mahal because it comes with a hard disk. Medyo malaki ang mp3+g files parang size ng 1 mp3 song. So for a huge collection, (like 9,000 songs) you need like 30Gb of hard disk space.

Search nyo lang sa torrent "karaoke CDG or MP3+g".

Ang mga player na pwede sa ganitong files: karafun, siglos etc.
