Computers had always been associated with people having the social skills of a stick, seems that it is becoming even more evident in internet forums. Ah yes, the paradox of it all, forums are for people to socialize, well in fact you are not becoming any more socialized because you are in the world of cyberspace, you are trying to communicate with people having shadow faces, a blind belief.
It seems pathetic that the persons with “the most number of post” in forums are the ones without a social life, and it evident that they have a lot of time in their hands. They don’t know what it is to live and they must have a lot of social problems, this would serve as escapism. A drug for geeks because they do not have the capacity to talk with real people in flesh, pity . Pity indeed.
Have you ever been in a forum where this guy, lets call him Arthur, has a debate with Tarzan, then Jane defends Tarzan while, Genie thanks Arthur. When all the time Arthur, Tarzan, Jane, and Genie are one and the same. Hahaha. Sad but true. Sad but true.
Try to go to professional forums and see how they avoid spamming because of professional post. In most forums loosers never seem to have an “EXCESSIVE COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOR” to reply to any post even if that person has no clue of the subject. Its true that we now have global knowledge through forums but for crying out loud if you have nothing to say just shut up and don't repeat what the person above you posted.
Poll whore, status hog, rank freak; what do you get from these anyway? Here is a dollar go out and get a life.

i dont have any social problem.. i am the extrovert type of person.. nga lang, i love forums din kasi madami ako natututunan.

Battosai 29th Apr '07 Sun, 08:44 ^ Baka kasi mababa post/thanks/rep points nya.
kamote_empire 29th Apr '07 Sun, 14:03 ^ Baka kasi mababa post/thanks/rep points nya.
thanks to symbianize forum... :)

aLgiE 30th Apr '07 Mon, 08:36 guys, whats important, kahit saan ka, basta you grow or develop into a 'wel'l being...kahit puro forum ka lng, if you wont live your life, ganun din yun....better be active than living in a stagnant life...
kamote_empire 30th Apr '07 Mon, 22:48 We then have to live our life by going out? is that what you mean Algieliza?
Ironic din ata kasi being active is not just sitting down hehe, nagjojogging habang nagiinternet hehe joke lang
em0ter0 30th Apr '07 Mon, 23:30 professor marc, ano naman ang masasabi mo sa letter na ito? :)
--------------
tinutuloy mo pa rin ba yung pagkuha ng BS IT professor? :salute:
hmx_ryan 1st May '07 Tue, 09:27 Hindi ko sya masisi sa mga sinabi niya, he is entitled to that... I pity him instead, kasi hindi nya naeexperience ang fun and joy that I feel or We feel of sharing our thoughts and making friends in cyber space... Cyber Space, for me, is the easiest method of sharing information compare to Print Media... And maybe, he stumble in a forum were members were so dumbed who talks a non-sense topic all the time...
kamote_empire 2nd May '07 Wed, 11:45 I can say that he also used forums to let out his feelings so he is also a forumer and a part of the internet community. I won't be a hypocrite, he seems to have strong points. He is complaining about people who misuse the power of forums.
I'm a good leech, so spamming is not my thing :) i'll wait till someone who shares a lot complains of leechers :lmao:

i feel bad for the author of this thread, thou i respect his opinion... but i beg to disargee dun sa mga sinabi nya, i think mas nag-improve ang social skills ko simula nung matuto akong makipagchat at sumali sa mga forum... sa cyberchat nganawala ang pagiging mahiyain ko eh , now, i can express myself better and with more confidence --- sa cyber man o personal...
Think about this...
"There's more to life than just living it..."

mas maluwag. pag maluwag e loose lang hehe
ferofax 20th Jan '08 Sun, 21:09 haha, i like this guy. whoever wrote this one, i like him. cynical works like a charm for me. :) what i'd probly do is argue with this guy publicly, then befriend him thru PMs. i've seen a few people like this, and ive befriended them all, because way back, i was a guy just like that. cynical.
i still post stuff like that every once in a while, just to get a little fire going, but generally i dont hate everyone anymore. :)
unless of course, they're assholes, in which case you'd probly see me going down in a blaze of glory. yeah, i'd get the banstick, but everybody would hate him. then after a few days the banstick goes away, and im back to the same routine - harassing newbies at every opportune moment. hihi.
