The Philippine Speleological Society (http://www.pss.org.ph) in partnership with the Regional Cave Committee of Northern Mindanao will be hosting the 8th Phil.National Caving Congress on March 31-April 6, 2008 at the Grand Caprice Convention Center(CDO), Gardens of Malasag Eco-Tourism Village(CDO) and Mt. Palaolao range(Bukidnon).
This year’s congress will focus on the awareness and full implementation of Republic Act 9072 otherwise known
as the National Caves and Cave Resources Management and Protection Act.
There will be lectures on Cave Conservation, a workshop on Cave Rescue, and on-site visits.
