No, Serj made this album while they are in hiatus.
They aren't broken up and to hold you over Serj has a individual project going now and it's pretty good so look that up. The haitus will probably last another 5-6 months if that long, but no worries they'll be back.

Nice to hear Serj's back...I thought they're gonna perish because of MTV...hehe...
