BILIN MO NA!!! I've been using mine for a long time and it hasn't let me down. Maganda pa speaker quality. Hindi tulad ng mga tunog latang Nokia. The P910i's true power comes pag na customize mo to, from themes to ring tones. Totoo na may drawback sya when it comes to the camera pero pag ganun I'd rather use a real digicam. Good luck in choosing. :)

Eto samples ng mga kuha from my P910i:

Unless may budget ka for a P990i e di yun na lang bilin mo. :p

Teka bakit nakalagay sa phone mo P910i na?

tignan mo tong review ng SE P990i..

Awful!
by anonymous - Apr 26, 2007

Pros: Looks better & more fuctions than previous P-series
Cons: Doesn't work!
Opinion:
It looks better. That's the only thing that's an upgrade from the previous P-series phones.
Other than that, all the "upgraded" features don't work properly.
The phone hangs and restarts itself 50% of the time you open an application. Countless reboots, data corrupted, unable to update, the list goes on and on.
How did SE make a new phone that becomes WORSE as they make each model? I loved the P900. I had no problems with the P910. But the P990? I hate it. It sucks big time! SE even removed features that I loved, like the the previous jog-dial.
I'm so irritated that I'm sometimes tempted to fling the phone to the floor and break it due to my frustration with it. Please take it from me and give me a new phone SE, please...

Either loose yung cable wire mo or baka may topak USB mo. Try using another slot. :)

With regards sa attachment, click mo http://www.symbianize.com/shine/buttons/reply.gif, tapos under nun merong "Manage Attachments". Click mo yun and merong popup na lalabas. You can then attach the pic there. Post mo dito ha, para makita ko phone mo. :)

Eto write up from the Tech News section of MB:

IF YOU LOVE YOUR GADGET, GMASK IT!

Expressing the in-depth persona in you

By Carla Mae and Paolo

We know most of us agree that we all love our personal gadgets. Be it a mobile phone, laptop, digital camera, MP3 player, or the lovable I-Pod, we take extra care for them and treat them as if our own.

However, as time goes by, the wear and tear comes in, and the most common among them all are scratches and bumps on their structure profile. No matter how much we avoid these things to happen to our gadgets, there will always be unintentional accidents that beyond our control. And buying an original housing for your gadget can cost about a thousand pesos.

But now, there is now a new way to make your gadget look, not only new, but also creative and stylish, and can be eye-catching and stand out among the pack. This is GMask!

Technews was able to get in touch with Frederick Chao, marketing manager of GMask Philippines, and had a candid chat about the genesis of GMask in their outlet at the newly opened SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.

"GMask started more than 6 years ago when a Japanese developed an idea of using protective films, used for laminating outdoor signage boards, to wrap on specific gadgets. From there, GMask evolved, and it became a huge blockbuster in Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and India," Chao explained.

Technews noticed that the GMask outlet was attracting much attention to many mall rats and passers-by that were curious to take a peep and look on the display rack of GMasked gadgets. Some were also making inquiries, while others were starstruck that they had their gadgets GMasked right away. Even one of our Technews staff had her Nokia 6600, GMasked, Da Vinci Code style.

"Eversince GMask Philippines opened its first outlet in Glorietta 2 on May 12, 2006, we immediately became an instant hit overnight, and had first satisfied GMask customers, including local celebrity Jennifer Illustre and fashion accessories designer Happy David. And with the conjunction of the opening of the SM Mall of Asia, and with our second outlet here, we experienced the same response from mallers here," he said.

Technews took note about the features and benefits of the GMask that is being "dressed and wrapped" on the gadgets. GMask protects your gadget from scratch, liquid spill, weather, and sweat, prolong the value of the gadget / higher resale value, makes your gadget beautiful from boring to interesting, gives naked protection wherein no need for bulky pouches, hand-made with exclusivity, artistic / creative that lets express the owner's personality, cheaper than having it done abroad, much cheaper than buying a new original casing, and it gives a fashion statement.

"GMask uses a wafer-thin protective film that is made in Japan. The film we use is only a few microns thick (1 micron = 0.001mm) and is strong enough to withstand the printing and lamination process, giving it a feel natural touch. This film is scratch, water and weather resistant and can protect your electronic gadgets, ranging from mobile phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, and laptops, from 5 to 7 years," Chao explained.

As Technews observed the process of dressing up our staff's Nokia 6600, the outlet staff, comprising of GMaskers Diana Mercado, Regilyn Capili, and Ginefer Lique, were passionately wrapping the Nokia 6600 of our staff and other clientele phones. They told us that it takes them about 30 minutes to 1 hour to complete the process. We find them well-trained and constantly maintained high quality care on every gadget they dressed up.

"Our GMask staff have undergone rigorous training with our foreign staff from Japan who taught them the art of GMasking that ensures their consistent quality and speed. We equip our GMaskers with excellent high-quality tools and workmanship in GMasking electronic gadgets. Aside from that, we set aside at least 2% of our annual turnover in R&D, to review, modify and enhance our material, printing technology and creative designs; and develop new innovative GMask wraps to stay afresh to our clients' needs," he said.

"After each wrap, we make sure that customers are completely satisfied as to the look, the feel, and how they want to customize further. Furthermore, we offer free touch-up within one month of wrapping. We can also remove the wrap for the customer in the future, free-of-charge," Chao added.

Technews took noticed with some of the clamshell mobile phones that have crystals on it. Frederick said that they are genuine Swarovski crystals that are place on top of the GMask film wherein it ensures that the gadget will not be damaged with the glue. "The glue that we use is imported and considered as the world's strongest glue that assures the mobile owner that the crystals will not chip away throughout during its usage. A full surface crystal service may take as long as two days to ensure complete drying of the glue, but for small crystal embellishments take only about 4 hours to dry," he said.

GMask Philippines hopes that with their success in their Glorietta 2 and SM Mall of Asia outlets, they can add more outlets in other malls in the metropolis. Frederick said that GMask Philippines does not only provide individual GMasking service to their regular customers, but also among its corporate clients.

Gotta tell, Technews finds GMask a great way to express your in-depth personality on your well-loved gadgets. With a wide array of quality and unique designs and genuine Swarovski crystals to boot, one will love their gadget even more.

If you love your gadget, then GMask it!

Dati ako P900 user pero ngayon naka-P990i na ako.

So far ok naman working experience ko with the P990i. WLAN is great! Hang? wala naman me eexperience cguro dahil lagi mmonitor sa task manager nya yung mga applications na tumatakbo and using swiss manager eh naiiwasan ko mga 'to.

may mga cons nga pero makakasanayan din nyo mga yun. ganun din naman ako when I got mg P900.. dami ko angal but I live with it.

P-Series rules man!

btw, ang recommended application ko for UIQ is OggPlay. It plays Ogg file format. Free kasi format na'to eh and pwede mapaliit ng sobra like 400kb. di ko pa cya na try sa UIQ3 at mukhang di ppwede eh. Here's the link: http://symbianoggplay.sourceforge.net/

Hinahanap ko ngayon applications na ccompute ng gas mileage mo... may mga nakita na me sa getjar.com and yung lubisoft automobile kaso di me masyado masaya sa mga yun eh.... bka may ma-suggest keo.

Thanks

With regards to your question, yes, video call capable ang P990i, pati yung P1i. Check with your service provider para bigyan ka ng settings.

A P910i afficionado here.

old school rules! hehe.

My brother had a P990i and I found it too slow for my taste. I was thinking of getting a Treo but the qwerty keypad is not my cup of coffee. So I made my choice and bought a second hand P910i -- it's like getting a second chance with your first love, to put it romantically. :yipee:

So far, so good and I am enjoying every minute of having it.

camera is fine. there are adjustable settings naman eh. the music / sound quality is the best, though could use a bit more volume. all in all its great. quick word sucks!

Spike simple lang yan, but first you have to know the settings para sa mail provider mo, if they are using IMAP or POP3 tapos pag nakoha mo na yan.. oks na..

lagay mo na yung nakuha mo na info sa "Email" "Options" "Edit Accounts" "New Accounts"

input mo na lahat ng details na ibinigay sa email provider mo... like yung server name, outgoing server...etc...etc...etc...
make sure lang naka activate yung GPRS mo ha... pag hindi pa.. that's another story...

Peace out
