Hmm... How many HDD do you have on your system..? What is the OS CD he installed on your PC..? Did he install it through Windows or through Boot-Up..?

Panu nawala? baka naka-hide lang yung Drive mo... ganito lang ang gawin mo,

Go to START>>RUN>>Type gpedit.msc>>in GPEDIT, navigate to User Configuration>>Administrative Templates>>Windows Components>>Windows Explorer>>in the Right Pane look for Hide this specific Drives in my Computer, then Double Click to open it... and Set it to DISABLED

Then Restart your PC..

malamang ganun nga ang ginawa ng utol ko nag kamali lang selection,gusto ko na lang sana reformat na lang uli kaso ang problema hindi na ma access yung cdrom:(

try also check your windows registry. type "regedit" (w/out quotes) in run command, and navigate this directory.

Under this key, you’ll see a key “DriveIcons“. Delete it and log off or restart your Windows.

Ganun ba lups? ganito, anu ang size ng HDD mo? check mo kung pareho lang ba sila ng size ng Drive C mo.. otherwise, unrecognized yung Drive D mo..:(
