How to install DotA.

I can't believe there's still no guide


1) Get Warcraft 3 RoC and TFT and install them.

2) Once you have that installed check if it's working.

3) Update your TFT patch to the current version (1.20e) with this guide

4) Make a folder in your C: (default location) > Program Files > Warcraft 3 > Maps and name it 'Download'

5) go to http://www.getdota.com and download the latest DotA map

6) Save it to your download folder in maps

7) Run your TFT and click single player > custom game > go to your download folder and click on your DotA map and press start game.

8) Now you should have DotA installed in your warcraft you can go play in Battle.net and own people!

Bakit Ganitong Build???
Electric Rave at Overload muna ang unahin i max out, dahil para sila sa isa't isa...:clap: Isa rin itong magandang paraan para mag farm...
Ang Barrier naman ay optional, depende ito sa kalaban, kapag mahilig ang kalaban sa offensive skills, o kaya nuker, tulad ni Zeus, ito muna ang i max out... Pero pag battle type yung kalaban, tulad ni Troll Warlord, hindi masyado importante ang Barrier...


A few tips for using Raijin Thunderkeg:

1. Don't use too much Electric Rave during Early-Game... Di mo alam, baka ubos na mana mo, pagkatapos kakadating pa lang ng kalaban mo para patayin ka!!! Wala ka ng mana para gumamit ng Electric Rave, Barrier, o kaya gumamit ng Scroll of Town Portal para tumakas...

2. Kapag may kasama kang Hero na matigas, paunahin mong umatake, sumunod ka lang... Bakit??? Konti lang ang HP mo... At hindi ka gaanong matigas, kapag ma Gang-Bang ka, katapusan mo na!!!

3. Pwede mo rin gamitin ang Lightning Grapple para tumakas!!! Just be careful... Baka pati kalaban maisama mo sa iyong pagtakas... :lol:

4. Kapag naisipan mong makatakas gamit ang Electric Rave, HOY!!! Attack speed lang ang binoboost niyan, hindi pati movement speed!!!

5. At ang pinaka importante sa lahat, ENJOY THE GAME!!!

Guinsoo's - bkt? kase try mo makipag sabayan kay darkterror hnd ka makakagalaw dahil a stun kung meron ka nito pwede mo xang takbuhan ok kya kalabanin... pewro mas maganda na ang mamatay ng my laban kesa nmn mamatay ng walng laban... hnd ka ren makakatakbo kase my tym walk si darkterror tapos deduction pa sa speed 40% ouch!! and pwede xa pang regen sa mana mo lalo na kung gs2 mo mag electric rave... parang walang nababawas sa mana mo..

Eye of Skadi - pang slow kase hnd nmn pwede na kaht my guinsoo ka mahahabol mo na kalaban mo nuh! asa ka! 3 secs lng yun! pano kung ang kalaban mo mu blink? hnd mo na mahaahbol... pero kung my slow ka... pang nag blink xa maaari mo pa xang mahabol kase my slow pa xa...kung hnd mo talaga mahabol lighning gaple n lng!

Why get Stats? I Thought that stats are only for l33t imba h4x users.
Well stats give a near equal amount of mana as compared to the reduced mana cost of higher levels of dopplewalk. 26 mana plus 38 health plus damage and attack speed Vs 30 mana. I know which one I would pick.

Why get Sprit Lance?
Without you will have ZERO, 0, Zilch, power early game which is bad for Phantom Lancer since he is easy to harass so at the very least you can force a mutual loss with both of you going back to the fountain. This can also set up some easy/lucky kills early game.

Why get Dopplewalk?
This is your main survival skill, and without it you will be far too easy to kill early game since you have a below average movespeed. Also works well with sprit lance to set up early game kills. I don’t max it out early game because stats provides 26 Mana as compared to a 30 mana reduction if you get more dopplewalk. I get one extra level in mid game because that is when you will be needing the slightly reduced cost of it. As more often than not you will be pushing after a team fight, which will mean you will have used up most of your mana, so a reduced cost is necessary.

Why get Juxtapose?
Early game the heroes in your lane are likely to harass you and your weakling images, and because they are so weak (less than 600 health and about 15 attack damage). They make little difference in farming and harassing. The points early game are better spent in sprit lance so you can fight back well.

Why get Phantom Edge?
It boosts your images and gives free evasion.. what is not to like about it ^^, I get level one before level one of Juxtapose because the evasion will help more than a tiny chance to get a fairly weak illusion

Raw attack speed doesn’t go over to images, and boots of travel give more movespeed than Treads which makes it easier to chase.. girls. Also gives the ever useful teleport ability which is awesome for a pusher like Phantom Lancer

Part of Manta Style. An awesome mid game item that gives one of the most powerful disables in the game.

Manta Style | 5500 Gold

You are an image hero. Good image hero builds go for image boosting items. The best hero boosting item is manta style. Any questions?

Yasha | 2050 Gold

Yasha is the most cost effective agility item in the game (Disregarding GGbranches, Slippers, Blade of Alacrity , and the Boots of Elvenskin, but we can’t exactly have 6 GGbranches and pwn the whole other team can we tongue.gif), and the agility you get from the yasha will also go over to your images. So you attack faster, which means more images, and then your images also attack faster which means even more images ^^
I get two since the butterfly is too expensive to build up to quickly. Although butterfly is quite a good item to fill up the final item slot.


Heart of Tarrasque | 5500 Gold

Your strength growth is nothing to brag about, and since life steal doesn’t work on images Heart will have to do. Heart gives both you and your images lots of extra life to play around with.

||General Gameplay

You are weak. Period. So you are going to be skipping middle lane, and heading out to one of the side lanes. The chicken along with the ring of regen means that you can take minor cuts and scratches and recover, and for anything too serious you can just order a Flask of Sapphire Water, so you are fairly safe from being sent back to base too often. The chicken also allows you to be progressive with your item build, since you get a lot of little items early game.

Once you get to your lane, sum up your opponents asking these sort of questions

1. Are they ranged?
2. Do they have regen?
3. Are they good at last hit?
4. Do they deny?
5. Do they have a lot of health?
6. Do they have a stun/disable?
7. Do they harass you?


The ideal answer to those questions would be 1. No, 2. No, 3. No. 4. No, 5. No, 6. No, 7. No. Now depending on what your lane hero(es) are try to work out if you could kill them with sprit lance and dopplewalk. More on hero killing will be later.

Now if they like to harass you, you should stay well back only moving forward to get last hits, if you want to risk trying for last hits at all. If they don’t like to harass you you *could* just continuously just hit creeps, but then you are likely to push to fast. So the best thing to do is to just move in for last hits.

|| Hero Killing

The magic number is 430 mana to be able to use 2x Sprit Lance and a Dopplewalk to set up the initial backstab, because of the fact that you have stats, 430 mana isn’t so much.

So if you view your enemy lane hero(es) as an easy target with low health and a weak/no disable. Usually you will move towards the creep wave fighting and then dopplewalk once you are attacking, because if you are running and then suddenly stop it looks messy and better players may think that something is wrong.

Get the illusion from the dopplewalk to bum rush the hero you want to kill. Hopefully they will use a nuke on it saving you from a heap of pain. Once the illusion has died/been the target of their nuke/disable, you attack from directly behind them so that they *will have to* run around you if they want to escape. Once they decide to either fight or run use sprit lance straight away to slow them down so they can’t run and to damage them. Then attack them, again, and again. Once sprit lance is cooled down use it for the kill. If they start to run before sprit lance gets cooled down just chase after them and wait til sprit lance gets done.

From level 8 onwards, with a null talisman and a bracer, you should be able to use an extra sprit lance before you start to kill them. So the combo would be
1. Sprit Lance > 2. Wait til Sprit Lance is cooled down then use dopplewalk > 3. Attack them, and use sprit lance again > 4. Chase and finish with sprit lance.

||General Gameplay

Well, you play much the same way as you did in early game. Except now you can also go hero hunting (if you have purge), if you need to. Not recommended.. but if the scoreboard = god to you, you might as well go pawn a few heads.

Your stronger now than you were in early game thanks to your illusion skills, combining with Feedback from Diffusal Blade. Your images aren’t all that strong, but they spawn quickly and do high-ish damage for an image thanks to Feedback.

|| Hero Killing

There are two ways to hero kill in mid game, one with ambushing tactics, and the other with baiting tactics. Baiting the heroes using illusions comes from experience from playing against the play as to what they MAY or MAY NOT do. There is a good bait in the replay I have. So I will be covering ambushing tactics in this.

First find a hero that is alone, preferably with low-ish health. If he has allies, make sure you also have allies to an equal (or greater) amount.

First use dopplewalk in the bushes where they can’t see you. Then get your illusion to charge them. If they fall for the bait, then good. If not well.... it could be worse. Try to time your attacking them and coming out of invis to when the dopplewalk illusion first attacks, so that the enemy will think that you are just a spawned illusion and not the real thing. Once the enemy realises that he can’t win against you and your army use purge to hold him in place. Once the affect from purge is almost over use sprit lance so that he will be slowed again. Then just chase and alternate purge and sprit lance until you kill him.

|| Team Battles

In team fights, you should never, ever initiate the fight. You are just too weak to be considered a front line fighter.

Ok, so once your tanks/whatever have gone up to the enemy and started to fight them you can either 1. Join them on the front line, or 2. Use dopplewalk and go flank them and aim for the casters. Option 1 means that you may take more damage but you have an escape option in dopplewalk. Option 2 means that you are more likely to get a kill, but you have no escape move in dopplewalk since it is cooling down.

Once you are in, save sprit lance for when they start to run/the finishing blow. Use purge as soon as they start running, and use sprit lance to finish.

As to who you should aim for in team fights, I’m going to borrow lh2128’s neat classification to the 6 groups of heroes.

After class 5 heroes, go onto attack class 3 heroes that HAVEN’T used their ultimate. If they have, they aren’t your problem. After the class 3 heroes, attack their hero killers. The fights usually don’t last much longer than you killing 1-2 heroes.

Use purge/Sprit lance to ensure successful escaping or chasing down escaping enemy heroes.

|| Creeping/Pushing

To creep and push in mid game once you have 2-3 levels of juxtapose just constantly attack the creeps. Before that you are better off just last hitting.

magandang araw mga ka-DotA! Im kinda a noob in playing but learning quickly. Im having a 1 on 1 game with someone. the problem is, nung napatay ko na hero niya, ang bilis niya magrespawn. i thought nakuha niya na ung aegis, hindi pa pala. hos is that possible that mabilis siya magrespawn? thanks in advance sa guide.

Tapuz lagyan nyu ng item, example ung ultimate orb pagamit mu xa knya tapuz pali.itin mu ang health ng bear na pwde ma deny. Ganito gawin nyu pag wla ng health ung bear attack nyu e2 tapuz sabay drop ung item na. Cge lng drop at pulot ng item make sure bago cya ma deny nsa kanya ung item pag na deny na try to respawn the bear. Getz... Dami na cguro nakaalam nito dahil meron na 6.52d. Dnt 4get to hit THANKS

kuya kase mas maganda pag yung ininstall mo yung warcraft sa pc mo o kaya kinopy mo na lng yung installer fromn other pc tapos paste mo yung installer dyan... yun install mo na po^%^
