You're right renzoy16. There's a rice shortage globally and not only in the Philippines. Here in Bahrain where I worked the price of rice has risen by 80% and is still rising. Perhaps it's time to switch to other sources of carbohydrates like corn, kamote, patatas at tinapay. Ang problema mahal na rin ang tinapay. Paano na kaya yong mga walang trabaho at mga mahihirap?:weep:

I'm a community development student here in mindanao... always ako sa field, i observed wala namang shortage... nagmahal lng tlaga ang pagbebenta becoz of hoarding, pede rin kasi hinaharang ang paglabas ng bigas para magmahal ang benta at maiba rin ang focus ng tao... check nyo lalagyan ng bigas sa pagbili, may tatak PGMA :slap: garapal :rant:

Alam ninyo ba na ginawang taniman yung IWAHIG sa Palawan? May 3,000 hectares pala ito at ang workers dito would be the prisoners who will get monthly allowance from the govt...? mas tipid.
