I would just like to ask our uploaders if they can use another site aside from rapidshare or at least provide another alternative download site.

Rapidshare limits the number of download per day. In my case, rapidshare sees the IP address of my ISP so all subscribers of my ISP use the same IP to download from rapidshare. This is interpreted by rapidshare as download by just one individual kaya di makapag-download kung may ibang subscriber na nag-d-download din. At the same time, nauubos yung download quota for the day agad.

However, external IPs are uniquely given per client, not per ISP, but this still causes problems. All computers in a single local area network, example in an internet cafe, workplace, or simply a home network, share the same IP. If Rapidshare detects your IP as already downloading a file, someone "close by", i.e. connected to the same LAN, may really be downloading a file. But again, it doesn't mean that all Globe subscribers, and all PLDT subscribers, etc, have the same IP.

It still sucks though. I never get to download from Rapidshare at work. Sa bahay almost lagi pwede.

i agree bro, about the rapidshare thingy.. sabi nga ni vandike, merong mga indivs dito na tumutulong sa mirroring ng mga nasa rapidshare. post mo lang sa thread nila yung mga type mong DLs.. tutulungan ka nila :)

Tama ka bro, mahirap talaga minsan makapasok sa RS. Post mo yung request mo sa Thread nung uploader then try ka namin tulungan thru mirror.

im using ZPDee right now and mukhang yung IP address lang ng ZPDee ang nakikita ng rapidshare kaya ang mga subscribers ng ZPDee nahihirapan sa RS. Pero try ko yung suggestion nyo na mag-post sa 'Mirroring thread'.
