Our server reached its resources limits so we've upgraded its components to prevent significant lag, loss of data, and occasional system shutdown. We have added 256MB RAM, 20GB disk space, and 125GB bandwidth. Those essential upgrades come with a $35 price tag which will be added in our expenses every month.

We also updated our PHP (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Php) and MySQL (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mysql) versions and added eAccelerator (http://eaccelerator.net/) which in return will optimize or improve the overall performance of our site. And these server-side updates are also necessary in preparation for a major update of our site which is expected to be done this coming week.
