Let's give advice to those who are about to enter college years...

Anong maipapayo ninyong i-take nila that they can benefit so much from it. Na tipong di sila magiging tambay after graduation.:ranting:

As for me, since i graduated 9 years ago..nakita ko, indemand and accountancy or bookkeeping, kse lahat ng business kelangan nito.:10:

You are all free to suggest.

as of now... halos lahat ng courses merong great availability of jobs offered... ang nagiging problema lang eh marami kacompetensya... marami kayo gagraduate on the same course and taking up the same kind of jobs... yun ang isa sa mga opinion ko...

now im taking up electrical engineering at masasabi ko na ito ang isa sa mga right kind of choice para hindi maging tambay kasi( opinion ko lang) eto ang may pinakawidest i think na area of study compared to other engineering courses... kasi sakop nito lahat maging sa electonics, power, electrical, computers, etc.... even teaching...

kung ako tatanungin... its on the interest and wit(diskarte) of the student... on taking up a course.... kung magaaral sya ng mabuti hindi sya magiging tambay... at ang trabaho pa ang lalapit sa kanya...

If you want to be practical and para makatipid sa tuition fee... why not try taking up technical-vocational courses related to skilled works..etoh po yung mga 1-3yrs. courses or maybe much shorter than that depending on what type of course you want to pursue.. kasi nowadays in demand sya to those who want to go abroad... for example: caregiver, nursing aide, IT, welding, etc.

meron po tau available list of schools offering these kind of courses... ;)

take it from me, medical field ang in demand abroad lalo na dito sa US. OR nurse ako at pag apply pa lang namin may sign up bonus na kaming $5000. mabilis din ang asenso basta masipag ka lang.

Ive heard sa news yung about sa Portia, tama bang spelling..isang car manufacturer sa ibang bansa na piniling training center ang Pinas sa Asia bekoz they believe na magagaling na machinists and mechanics ang pinoy...so forecasting lang, most likely in the future, magiging indemand na naman ang mechanical courses, yung manu mano ha! (like welders, technicians and the like). There will be a brighter future na rin ang mga pipili ng vocational and technical courses.

Pooh Bear
5th Jan '08 Sat, 19:05
I don't think manu mano pa ang style ngayon. sa mga sasakyan ngayon, kailangan mo na i-hook up sa computer para malaman mo kung saan ang trouble. Porche yung car manufacturer, not Portia.

dito talaga kailangan computer literate ka kasi lahat ng trabaho kailangan ka mag handle ng computers.

Thats right but a technical knowhow and the theory of mechanics would be required, di ba.

kung gusto nio ng surefire job.. Speech Pathology ang kunin nio. haha. konti lang kasi ang mga SP's here in the Philippines (more or less 500?), and most of them nasa states na din. The pay is high, but mas rewarding kasi marami kau matutulungan na people. A lot of Filipinos are in need of services given by SP's. Un nga lang isa palang ang school na meron nun here in the Philippines, in UP Manila. The catch is, kelangan tlga ng dugo at pawis sa pagaaral nito corz na toh. haha. toxic eh! im in 3rd year na, survival of the fittest tlga!
