IMPORTANT: You will need ipod linux to install iGameGear. HOW? here:
Step 1: Download this file and run the .bat file … it will install ipl on your ipod! http://www.mediafire.com/?9zzmg2dgtx3

If there is an error in the .bat file, saying that it cant find your ipod,

1: make sure your ipod is connected

2: dont click cancel click on continue and it will eventually find your ipod drive

Step 2: Download this file and put it in your ipod root

ATTENTION: YOU WILL NEED THIS IF YOU WANT TO HAVE ROCKBOX, IBOY,INES OR ANYTHING ELSE ON THE BOOTLOADER SO DOWNLOAD IT!!

How to install extra modules (programs)

Alright first i have to say when install ipl, u already get some modules but they are not installed.

to go see the modules,

1: Go in your ipod root,

2: then in the userland folder

3: and in modules.

that folder contains almost all of the modules out there but not all of them are installed

the default ones are

All the other folders are waiting there fo u to install them. so here is how u do it

Step 1:Go in your ipod root and open the folder called ipl config

Step 2: open the file called modules_enable.txt and in there type the name of the module (the name of the module= the name of the folder in the userland/modules folder)

“Ie: lets say there is a module in the modules folder called avalanche2939 in the modules_enable.txt you will have to write avalanche2939″

OR you can open the readme file in the iplconfig file and follow it...

How to uninstall ipodlinux if you do not want it anymore

Just go into your iPod root and delete the folders related to iPodwizard. MAKE SURE NOT TO DELETE ANY OTHER you might delete precious information



The folders to delete are



userland, sbin, proc, iplconfig, etc, dev, and linux.bin



and thats it!

3. The iGameGear runs the same way as iDarcNes and iNes. You must run each game seperatly from the bootloader. To do this, you must place the igg binary, sms file, adn shell script in the igg folder
4. Now open the loader.cfg file from your root with notepad and add the following line as many times as needed.
ROM NAME @ (hd0,1)/kernel.bin /home/igg/SHELL SCRIPT NAME
ROM NAME should be replaced with what you want to call the game, and SHELL SCRIPT NAME needs to be the exact name of the shell script of the game
Example: if i wanted Afterburner, i might put this in my bootloader
Afterburner!! @ (hd0,1)/kernel.bin /home/igg/afterburner.bin

sa ipod OS tong question u ah, dapat dun sa pimp ur ipod to hehehe pero ok lang, baka ibig u sabhin bro vista o OSX sa ipod, kasi ung linux panibagong Operating system na naman un example is ROCKBOX check mo un bro, by the way about sa question mo, ang gamit ko ngaun is ung OSX kasi siyempre gawa ng MAC ang ipod kaya mac style pa rin ang ginamit ko hehehe, but gusto ko nga rin itry ung vista bro, try mo ung OSX ok un...:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
