Nagtataka lang po ako, bkit parang iba desktop ng ubuntu ko?

tapos nung naginstall ako sa friend ko po eto ung kanya:

ang alam ko, yan yung unity sidebar ng Ubuntu 11.04..

yung UBUNTU mo is maverick meerkat (10.10) version. while ang nasa baba 11.04 or Natty narwhal
:) upgrade mo nlang yan..

1. You are using different local, parang ibang language to eh.
2. You are using the live cd not the installed OS. If you had install your Ubuntu to your system. Remove the Live CD or USB then boot. Check mo yong user sa session if it's not the guest/ubuntu. Ganyan kasi kalimitan nangyayari e.
3. Yong session na ginamit mo, before ka mag.login. You have to select a session. Parang 2D lang yong session or Ubuntu Classic yong selected na session when you log in.

Hindi po yan Gnome 3 shell. Unity po ang tawag jan. Ung sayo kaya nagka ganyan kasi hindi kaya ng graphic card mo ung Unity Shell kaya nag fallback sa classic mode (gnome 2.X) . Install Unity 2D if gusto mong ganyan din ang environment.

Di pala sya Gnome 3. Old version pala di gaya ng sa Fedora 15.
