View Full Version : How to use Integrated GPS of Nokia N95 jeff18ms 24th Apr '08 Thu, 14:55 Hi, does anyone here have used the Integrated GPS on Nokia N95? mickel 24th Apr '08 Thu, 22:01 I don't use n95, but i've tried it with my n82. WHy, is there any problem with your gps? jeff18ms 25th Apr '08 Fri, 12:36 I don't know how to use the integrated GPS, A-GPS is working on me. mickel 25th Apr '08 Fri, 18:41 In what application do you want to use the integrated GPS? With the applications which are basically installed with a new phone, you may use it throught the GPS Data application under the connection folder in your menu. You could also use it on your Nokia Maps, sadly there are no maps for the Philippines. And the last app that I know of that utilizes the GPS is the SportsTracker, I already used this one and it comes very handy especially if you jog, or use your bike as a means of maintaining weight since it can measure and record the distance that you made and the calories you burned. Cool huh, hehe. So if you're using AGPS, then are you paying for it? Because AGPS is a network service, on the other hand the integrated GPS uses your phone's built-in GPS which is for free. But it is best used outdoors since GPS signals become weak when you are in an enclosed space like your home or if you are in a building. jeff18ms 9th May '08 Fri, 18:30 Thanks for the reply, the only problem I had is when I tried the Intergrated GPS on a cloudy day,.. It's working fine now, next is to crack the NAVFONE PRO w/ Downloadable maps.. I'll post it here when I'm done.. cheers |
