You're losing your memory
And all you want to do
Is to remember the moments
That's made up of me and you

You hold the hand that wipes your tears and turns them into rainbows
But your eyes see a continuous blur and a fogging on the windows
Of your heart.

Childhood fun, felt like it had just begun but in a second it's no more
Out the door goes every happy memory and the colors of things that you adored

Until the amnesia kicks in, there's this short span of time
Where you don't know what to do aside from cry in these arms of mine
And we pretend that all is fine
A dream, a crazy thought, a story in a book
And when we wake we'll laugh at how sad and dead we looked

Wishful thinking, we're magnificent liars till the end
Fooling ourselves into believing that hearts don't break, they bend

A few more moments and you'll see me as a stranger breaking down
On his knees when he sees your eyes give a blank stare and a frown
And in his head a voice that stays
And this it says over and over again:

"I don't care if i lose my memory, in fact i'd love to,
Because i'm tired of this same old world and everything i've been through.
But one thing that i'm scared of happening and would give me endless pain
Is when I'll look into those eyes of yours and see no meaning in anything you say."

"You're the only thing I want to remember."
