mahirap talaga pag may cc ka na and i'm talking about experience here.

mas maganda pa siguro yung DEBIT card (kung meron man yun), ibabawas na lang lahat sa pera mo sa bangko, pag ubos na, wala na, di ka na makakabili...

credit card: i have a mastecard black card:excited: ...it has an anvantage and disadvantage ok gamitin lalo na kung my emergency, meron rin cash-advance but the problem is the credit limit once na naubos na wala...and you must consider the interest rate na iipapatong ng bangko...di ka naman bibigyan yan kung wala kang pambayad...kaya be wise in using your credit card...

debit card...sarili mong pera gagastosin mo di ba kaya ung ipon mo like eon visa electron by union bank...maganda convenient pwede gamitin prang card...kaso pagnag-enjoy ka yari yung ipon mo....hehehehe....

hope this helps you alot...

I do have a Ctibank and HSBC credit cards.... So far, Its ok... Kasi naman, I don't have to bring money in my pocket... I don't have to pay my bills over the counter... I just registered it to my Credit cards.. And most of the credit cards can be paid through ATM accounts... it helps me out...

About your bills, it depends on how you use your credit card, as for me, I use it wisely and I spend in accordance with my earnings...

Maganda din ito pala kung pupunta ka sa ibang bansa, kasi most of the hotels don't ask for BILLS, they will ask "Do you have a Card Sir?"

marami na akong natry na cc. hsbc, bpi, metrobank, citibank, diners, and BDO. ok nmn lahat for me pero meron times na iddishonor ung card kase meron topak ung system ng bangko. mas madalas ang hsbc and citibank sa experience ko... kaya 2 credit cards ko para may backup. hehe. at kung dishonored ung dalawa, meron nmn ung debit card ko (BPI) para cgradong mabayaran ko ung binibili ko. hehe

ung sa friend ko nmn, ok sa kanya meron cc kse meron rebates pag ngpagas cya. so nkatipid cya by using the credit card :)

so i say get one! :)

I have 3. 2 citibank... 1 mercury(visa) and 1 shell(mastercard)... and 1 BDO. pinakagamit ko yung BDO kasi lagi naman ako sa SM e... grocery, dept store ekek... shell, pang gas... mercury para sa gamot shempre...

I like my BDO. kasi they gave me a free digital camera...well, actually, kaya ko lang kinuha yun para sa cam.. pero sulit na sulit na sha ngayon... sa rebates/points sa SM advantage and stuff...

tied in nga lang ako for 3 years and i have to pay the annual fee(2K) kung less than 300K yung annual expenditure ko... as if mahirap yun... pero sulit pa rin kasi yung cam worth 9K... nakakuha pa ako ng 1Gb na thumbdrive. basta sulit sa akin yun.

Nakakatawa nga kse di ko naman ganong ginagasgas itong cc ko, pero sumusulat ang citibank to promote yung services nila...ayoko kayang mahirapan sa bandang huli. They even told me that i can do a cash advance...so forth, so on. Hay naku if you give in to them, ikaw rin ang talo sa huli. :ranting:

Actually you can never tell... Cash advance can be used for emergencies, though haven't tried it yet... Malaki ang apr ng cash advance, kase it's like using your cc as your atm e, cc is actually useful, what if you don't have money left na, tas you need to buy something diba? Di ka naman mababaon sa utang if you use you cc wisely.

Some cc's do offer balance transfers din... Para sa mga tao ng malaki na ung utang and di na makabayad, it helps those people din na ayaw mashado masira yung credit nila.

HINDI ADVISABLE ANG CREDIT NOT UNLESS NASA BUSINESS KA...
CC ARE SUPPOSED TO BE USED FOR CASHLESS TRANSACTIONS DURING BUSINESS TRIPS..

MAHIRAP ANG MAY CC KAHIT SABIHIN NATING PANG EMERGENCY..
AT THE END IKAW DIN MAGSA SUFFER DAHIL SIRA AND BUDGET MO..

Payong kapatid lang po!

mganda cc un e kung me disiplina ka and u will only spend what u can pay..kasi mabibili mo na item without out cash nga lang pag bayaran dapat full payment kundi patay ka sa interest
