1st scan your computer with your anti virus baka infected na ang computer mo ng malicious worms etc.
2nd use registry cleaner or registry booster from uniblue baka congested na registry folders ng computer mo na nakapagpabagal ng system mo.
3rd kung di gumana1st and 2nd remedy back up all all your important stuff and reformat your operating system;)

goto start>run>type regedit> goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon.

Scroll down to "PowerdownAfterShutdown" and if the value is 0, change it to 1. This will tell XP to shutdown your machine after windows has been shutdown.

Renember to backup your registry before you do this.

SIR SA TINGIN KO MAY DRIVER NA NAINSTALL KA, NA CAUSE OF FREEZING YOUR LAPTOP TO SHUTDOWN NORMALLY,,, SO MY SUGGESTION IS TRY TO REMOVE SOME DRIVER IN YOUR LAPTOP

1. UNAHIN MO PO SA CAMERA DRIVER....REMOVE MO KUNG MERON TRY TO SHUTDOWN YOUR LAPTOP

2. VIDEO DRIVER REMOVE IT,,,,

THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IS TO ISOLATE WHAT PROGRAM OR DRIVER THAT IS INSTALLED IN YOUR LAPTOP CAUSING IT TO FREEZE WHEN SHUTTING IT DOWN...'

HOPE I HELP YOU:yipee:
