In China, the furry best friend and only companion to Leo Pan remains loyal even weeks after his death.
Leo Pan, 68, passed away earlier this month in his village of Panjiatun, China.
The video shown below, originally posted by BBC News, shows the heartbreaking footage of a little yellow dog that refuses to leave his master’s grave. Initially, the small dog stayed stubbornly at the burial site, without food or water for seven whole days. Villagers were finally able to lure him away from the grave, but the dog has continued to find his way back to his master every single day. Some locals are now planning to build a dog kennel near the graveyard so he can be close to his best friend without having to starve. Yahoo News reports people Tweeting that this story is indeed heartbreaking, and it has made their heart smile and cry simultaneously.
This just proves that canine’s are truly man’s best (and most loyal) friend.
