paano po ba i-control ung High Blood Pressure? help po....pra sa aking mom.....ito....:help::help:

Your mom need to change her lifestyle. Kailangan nya mag exercise araw2x para masunog yung fats sa katawan nya (moderate exercise lang). Kailangan nya rin iwasan kumain ng mga maalat na pagkain at matataba (Low-salt Low-fat diet kainin nya). Kung naninigarilyo sya, dapat tumigil na sya sa paninigarilyo. Isa rin to sa dahilan ng high blood pressure. Mabuti magpatingin sya sa doctor para makita anong dahilan ng high blood pressure nya at mabigyan sya ng tamang gamot para dito.

Hi! :) Your mom should consult a doctor if she has not been to one yet so that she can be given proper medication. Meron kaseng tao na kahit na healthy diet, nag exercise regularly, hindi naman stressed out eh nagiging high blood pa din because they are genetically predisposed to having that condition, this is the time that kelangan na talaga ng medication even if your mom's living a healthy lifestyle. :)
If your mom is overweight, losing about 10% of her present weight will be very beneficial for her condition. Also, dapat low sodium/low salt, high fiber diet na din sya. For the low sodium or low salt diet, she should avoid salt cured foods like tocno, sausage, hotdog, ham, bacon, corned beef...basta lahat ng canned and pickled vegetables. Smoked foods like tinapa should be avoided also. Condiments like table salt, soy sauce, bagoong , patis and even ketchup should be avoided..bawal na magsawsawan, except for vinegar. Also avoid adding MSG or ung mga seasoning while cooking (yung mga powdered na nilalagay para magkalasa, can't mention brands baka mademanda ako :lol:). When cooking just add enough salt or soy sauce or oyster sauce to taste. Other herbs and spices can be used (pepper, basil, etc) para mas magkalasa ang food. For the high fiber diet naman, consume more fruits and vegetables lang, especially the green, leafy vegetables (GLV). :)

ano2x po ba ang high fiber diet? yung specific po na pag eto palagi kakainin ko it could help, may sample po kayo? , kagagaling ko lang sa hosp. 150/100 daw ako kaya inijectionan ako after an hour naging 140/90 nalang, please help naman oh, di kasi ako mahilig sa veggies eh, more on carnivoroes side ko ang nangingibabaw eh:help:

:) Harryezrah, aside from fruits and vegetables at hindi ka talaga mahilig sa vegetables, you can get fiber din sa mga whole grain cereals like corn, brown rice, whole wheat bread...instead of using white bread for your sandwiches you can try whole wheat bread/pandesal..and kain ka more fresh fruits instead of fruit juices kase at least intact pa ang fiber content ng fruit unlike sa mga ibang fruit juices. :)
