Arthur Ashe, the legendary Winbledon player died 1993,
of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he receive during a heart surgery in 1983.

During his battle with AIDS, one of his fans asked,
"Why does God have to select you for such a bad disease?"
Ashe replied,
"The world over — 50,000,000 children start playing tennis,
5,000,000 learn to play tennis, 500,000 learn professional tennis,
50,000 come to the circuit, 5,000 reach the Grand Slam, 50 reach Wimbledon,
4 to the semifinals, 2 to the finals. When I was holding a cup, I never asked God 'Why me?'
And today in pain I should not be asking God, 'Why me?'"

yep.. napaisip ako nung nareceive ko ung email na 'to..
sometimes i am guilty about braging about my life.. kung bakit ganon.. bakit ganyan..
tama nga na minsan kulang lang tayo sa batok:punish: para mararealize kung bakit, kung ano ung purpose natin lahat.. we can't just complaint about things going on, just because you think na meron mas higit sayo.. we just have to appreciate how blessed we are, and how lucky we are na binigyan Niya tyo ng pagkakataon mabuhay dito sa mundo..

Sabi nga sa misa dito dati, "You must follow God's will, not your will." Trust God, for whatever He may give you, He knows that it's the right thing for you.

minsan kasi mas napupukaw ang atensyon natin sa mga maliliit na bagay kaya nagrereklamo tayo pero kung bibilangin natin ang lahat ng blessing na ibinigay ng Diyos sa atin, makikita natin kung gaano Siya kabuti.

:(Sa mga pagkakataong nasa tuktok ng tagumpay ang isang tao, madalas nakakalimutan niya ang tanging Lumikha...

Pero kapag dumating na ang huling oras, ang Diyos ang UNANG naaalala niya...

we just have to realize that He has his own reason why things happen.. He who sacrifice His own life, wouldn't what any harm to His beloved ones

I agree with that assertion, kaya nga marami rin ang nagsasabi, kung may favorite number si God, yun ay 0, kasi kung kailan walang wala na ang tao, tsaka siya nakaaalala sa Diyos. :)
