View Full Version : Manila Airport Review... ano masasabi mo?
cybil_geisha 25th Jun '08 Wed, 02:52 I was researching for my articles about traveling to Italy when I came across this website sleepinginairports.com. And so, I browsed their site and decided to see their airport reviews. Just for fun I tried to look up Philippines on the list, and there was a link on Manila airport... surprise surprise, eto ang review nila. :slap:

This Airport is a
2007 Poopy Airport
MANILA, Philippines
"I've been to almost all the airports in the worlds but i just cant compare Manila Airport to those rising 3rd world countries. Seem that NAIA is left out in the DARK age." (TPMAN 199)
"If you find a seat be prepared to defend it at all costs!" (Big Tone)
"Philippines Airport = not very nice (except for the new terminals of PAL). Overnight in a Manila Airport = NO NO NO" (Seb)
"that airport employees are the worst money hustlers around." (Steven)
"Everywhere everyone asks for bribes. Never offer them anything. Act as if you do not know what they are saying and just walk past them. " (Native Filipino)
What you can look forward to:
unfriendly staff
boring
not clean
hard seats
corruption, bribery, scams
overcrowded
chaos
keep your bags close
WiFi in the PAL lounge
here's the link if you want to see the real thing (http://www.sleepinginairports.com/asia/manila.htm)
I really don't know kung pano mag react on this since bata pa naman ako nung last makatungtong sa airport, ano ba masasabi niyo? :noidea:

well... that much clearly speaks of it.
NAIA 3 until now is still not open! and no one is getting charged or whatever for it!!!
poorboi_02 25th Jun '08 Wed, 06:34 foreigner ung my kasalanan nun, kc cla ung gumgamit ng toilet eh.
JenG 25th Jun '08 Wed, 07:00 corruption, bribery, scams

 parang off topic ka na po ha... topic po dito ung MANILA AIRPORT not the country itself as a unique and happy place :D
PINOY_RADICAL 25th Jun '08 Wed, 09:26 Well, the Philippines is a poor and dirty country, and it will stay that way until the people do something about it...
chokneth 25th Jun '08 Wed, 09:54 this review is so sad and embarassing...kaya lang kasi ala din tayong ginagawa so that people from other countries will not look down on us. kelangan matuto ung ibang airport employees to go an extra mile...paltos na nga tayo sa facility, pati ba naman sa tao paltos parin tayo...*sigh*
karamihan sa atin ang sinasabi ay corrupt ang bansa natin, marumi, mahirap kesyo daw cancer ito ng lipunan, but thats it and what we do about it - NOTHING! Thats exactly the problem, people see that it is a malignant case, but they dont and wont do anything about it. Lagi nalang sinasabi ng iba na maraming corrupt pero tanungin mo ang sarili mo kung may ginagawa ka. change will start from the people themselves Believe me, this country THIS WORLD is gonna pull through, just don't give up!

exactly! kung ang pinaguusapan natin ay ang buong Pilipinas, concious-effort on everyone's part talaga to do something! ang pinaka "mababaw" na example na maiisip ko eh ung pagtapon ng kahit isang balat lang ng candy sa kalsada...minsan ini-excuse natin ung sarili natin pag ginagawa natin un pero ung mga nagtatapon ng "malalaking" basura - sobrang inexcusable na. anong karapatan nating mag-judge or mag-criticize sa ibang mga pilipino kung tayo mismo, alam natin sa sarili natin na wala tayong ginagawa? ung sa naia, anong magagawa natin dun? all we can do is hope na sana marealize ng mga leaders na they have to do something about it because, as frustrating as it may sound, we really can't do anything about this NAIA issue. the leaders have to realize how this is affecting our country's image.
Akatsuki Leader 27th Jun '08 Fri, 09:35 Its really sad but it is true.. partida pa nga yan dahil foreigner sila.. pero kung pinoy ka tapos pupunta ka sa airport natin the treatment is much worse dahil parang utang na loob mo pag punta sa airport at ang baba ng tingin sa iyo ng karamihan ng airport personnel.
