:whew:NAKAKALUNGKOT isipin na hanggang ngayon, patuloy ang paglaki ng death toll sa tinaguriang U.S. - IRAQ WAR, also known as "Operation: Iraqi Freedom". Halos araw-araw ay may nagbubuwis ng buhay.


The TOTAL NUMBER OF U.S. SOLDIER CASUALTIES (fallen/dead US soldiers) as confirmed by The U.S. CENTRAL COMMAND already reached 4,635 as of June 29, 2008 (from the start of the Iraq War on Oct. 2001).

Here's the list of the LATEST CASUALTIES for the month of JUNE, 2008 alone.


JUNE 1, 2008:

Army Cpl. Justin R. Mixon, 22, of Bogalusa, La.; assigned to the 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany.

Died June 1 in Baghdad of wounds sustained when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device.

Army Spc. Christopher D. McCarthy, 28, of Virginia Beach, Va.; assigned to the U.S. Joint Forces Command, Joint Reserve Unit, Norfolk, Va.

Died June 1 at Forward Operating Base Ramadi, Iraq. His death is under investigation.

Died June 4 in Tikrit, Iraq, of wounds sustained in Sharqat, Iraq, when his unit was attacked by enemy forces using small-arms fire and hand grenades. Also killed were Spc. Jonathan D. A. Emard and Sgt. Cody R. Legg.

Died June 23 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds sustained in Salman Pak, Iraq, when his patrol encountered small arms fire during combat operations. Also killed was Capt. Gregory T. Dalessio.

Died June 24 in Baghdad, Iraq, of wounds sustained from a bomb blast. Also killed was Maj. Dwayne M. Kelley.
