Why switch-off installServer?

It's safe to unlock s60 security platform only when needed, so with caps on and installserver off security is at highest level. It's preserves its status. If phone shutdown installserver is on will remain on at startup.

With this little standalone program written in python you can disable or enable installserver.exe patch only when needed. Just install it in phone memory, open instsvrOnOff and select to enable or disable patch.

No need restarting, remember to remove caps before enable or disable patch.
