if you want your phone to be able to play mp3 by default, you need to upgrade your firmware first then install a small application to enable your phone to be able to read mp3 files by default. i think instructions and more info are posted somewhere here

talagang hindi magplaplay and mga mp3 sa 6600 unknown format sila,,, but try to install powermp3 and then run it and it will scan all of the available mp3 on your phone... Goodluck... :salute:

Di kailangang mag-upgrade ng firmware. If you want to play MP3 music download a player like LCG Jukebox or UltraMP3. If you want to make MP3 tones work, download the codec. Or get both in WMAplus it plays MP3 music and it has built-in codecs that allow your phone to recognize mp3 tones.
