Parasites found in human body!
http://www.gifam.org/133parasites2.jpg
(1) The hookworm latches on the walls of the colon with its sharp teeth where it feeds on blood.
(2) The tapeworm is the longest parasite. A mature adult can lay a million eggs a day.
(3) Tapeworm eggs embedded in the colon.
(4) The roundworm can grow to be 20 inches (50 cm) long and lay 200,000 eggs per day.
(5) Pinworms migrate outside the colon during the night to lay their eggs around the anus. This causes the nightly itching of many unsuspecting victims.

Good to Know...
* Hookworms
- Ankylostomiasis, alternatively spelled anchylostomiasis and also called helminthiasis, "miners' anaemia", "tunnel disease", "brickmaker's anaemia" and "Egyptian chlorosis", is the disease caused by hookworms. It is caused when hookworms, present in large numbers, produce an iron deficiency anemia by voraciously sucking blood from the host's intestinal walls. The name is derived from Greek ancylo "crooked, bent" and stoma "mouth."
* Tapeworms
- Tapeworm infection usually occurs when you eat food or drink water contaminated with tapeworm eggs or larvae. Most people infected with tapeworm are unaware they're carrying them. Tapeworms occur in humans in one of two forms. If ingested as eggs, they may develop into larvae that migrate out of the intestines and form cysts in other tissues such as the lungs or liver. These cysts can cause serious problems. Or, if ingested as larvae, they typically develop into adult tapeworms in the intestines, which usually cause few or no symptoms.
* Roundworms
- Parasitic roundworms can live on or in humans where they can cause a variety of health problems. Most parasitic roundworm eggs or larvae (immature form) are found in the soil and enter the human body when a person picks them up on the hands and then transfers them to the mouth. This causes symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting. The eggs or larvae also can enter the human body directly through the skin.
* Pinworms
- also called Enterobiasis, Oxyuriasis, Seatworm infection, Threadworm infection. Pinworms are parasites about the length of a staple that live in the rectum. They are the most common worm infection in the United States. Pinworms get inside the body when you swallow their eggs. While you sleep, the female pinworms leave the intestines through the anus and deposit eggs on nearby skin. Itching around the anus, disturbed sleep, and irritability are common symptoms. If the infection is heavy, symptoms may also include loss of appetite, restlessness, and difficulty sleeping. Symptoms are caused by the female pinworm laying her eggs. (Note: Itching is commonly felt during night time when a female pinworms lays her eggs.)
