Im currently using XDA 2s na minana ko sa kapatid ko, gustong gusto ko sana magamit to pang browse, tutal maraming gumagamit ng XDA dito sa symbianize kaya makakatulong din tong thread na to sa mga XDA users..
nabasa ko na yung UBT ni sir derickeys dito sa thread na to

the problem is.. hindi ko alam kung paano issetup yan sa xda ko..

bale window mobile 5 nga pala os ko tapos internet explorer yung current browser na hanggang ngaun hindi ko pa alam kung paano gumamit tapos globe ang network ko..

please help naman po kung pano po yan..please share naman din po ng mga tricks niyo...

bro gumamit k ng 3rd browser lyk opera khit 8.65 lng 2tal globe k my free nman cla lyk ym & email,atleast khit un mkapg-open ka ndi n kz me active ngyn....

Na-try ko na po ung FBT trick, kaso ayaw po gumana nung opera mini - mod versions at ung kay Sir Aed....... Natry ko na po ung iba't ibang midlet manager gaya ng Esmertec Jbed at IBM J9, pero lagi pong " You do not have working connection" nalabas pero nagconnect naman sa GPRS, kasi may icon. Ayaw din nung proxy tricks kahit iniba ko po ung sa Access Point settings.......:weep::upset:

tama ka bro,d nga gumagana ang mga OM at downloadr sa ppc ko.. pareho lng tyo ng problema,no internet connection kahit nka gprs nmn.. ang downloadr nmn, ayaw mainstall.

1. Go to Start > Settings > Connections > Connections > Task > Add a new modem connection >

a. Enter a name of connections: MyGlobe Inet
b. Select a modem: Cellular Line(GPRS)

2. Click Next

Access point name: www.globe.com.ph or http.globe.com.ph (pag smart naman ilagay mo lng dito un APN ng smart)

3. Click Next

a. Username: blank
b. Password: blank
c. Domain: blank

4. Click Finish

5. THEN CLICK Proxy Settings

a. Put a check on the box of "This network connects to the internet"
b. Put also a check on the box of "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet"

6. Click Advanced... > HTTP >

a. Server: 203.177.42.214 <--try mo lang ilagay un proxy server dito like browseprox.com dq sure
b. Port: 8080 <--pag un Free browsing technique port 80
c. Username: blank
d. Password: blank
e. Domain: blank

7. Click ok
then try mo na FBT type mo to... dloadstation.com
pag ayaw try mo i dl un om 4.1 na modded ni sir aed...then baguhin mo lng server settings at proxy....

Using your PPC as modem

a. Connect your phone thru USB and click Internet Sharing
1. PC Connection: USB
2. Network Connection: MyGlobe GPRS
3. Then hit Connect
4. When status change to Connected from Disconnected then you can now browse the net via your PC/Laptop.

im a xda2s user. napagana ko po ito dati pa. same as procedure ni sir ooggo. pero ngayun wala ng browseprox, i use proxserv.info as proxy server. using default browser or opera, punta ka muna sa proxserv page by entering http://3g.myglobe.com.ph or http://dloadstation.com. dun sa proxserv page enter mo yun address na pupuntahan mo(nasa bandang ibaba pa yun ng page) then click browse.
