The Thanko BINOCA01 binoculars does not only allow you to view events unfold far away in clarity, it also boasts a 2 megapixel CCD sensor that allows you to snap candid photos as well as record videos in AVI format for posterity. Powered by a couple of AA batteries, the BINOCA01 also doubles up as a webcam. This truly versatile device does have its downside - the lack of a memory expansion slot means the built-in memory maxes out at 32MB, which isn't enough to store a decent amount of videos and photos. The Thanko BINOCA01 measures 116mm x 67mm x 37 mm, weighs 215g and retails for $145 in Japan.
