nyways, here's the tutorial for changing system sounds..

Use shxcodec2.66, syssound4.02, p2ktools and flashbackup2.62

IF YOU'RE NOT SURE OF WHAT YOU'RE DOING, BACKUP YOUR PHONE FIRST!!


Prepare your own wav files, they should be 8000kHz and mono

Put your existing phone MP in a new folder.

If making the patch fails, and you want to try again, you must make a new folder again, and copy your existing MP into this new folder.

Never, never, ever use MP other than for your phone.

Run SHXcodex2.66.

Open your MP shx file, then split source.

Click exit

Run syssound.

Change language to english.

Click cutting off of emptiness for every name or sound you created.

After every cutting emptiness, you will see:

Set focus on the name of sounds you want to change, then the browse button will light up.

Click browse at Replace On box,

and replace with yours, 8000kHz and mono.

Repeat for others name of sounds, although I suggest you only do so for one type of sounds first (for example : Menu key sounds).

Now we'll learn about adding more sounds:

Click add button and choose one event.

Don't forget to press cutting off of emptiness

When you're finished, click REPLACE/REMOVE

Wait 3 to 5 minutes, depending on your computer.

Click exit from your syssound

Open flashbackup2.62

Select patch file using three dots button on the right of the box.

Browse to the fpa file created by syssound.

Apply patch.

Finally, check your seem edit: 0032_0001 offset 82 bit 6 should be ON

Don't forget to go to phone menu, then select ring styles, then select detail of soft or loud detail, then goto key volume, then set non Zero (if zero you could not hear anything).

oo tol..ano hitsura ng rokr e0.5? ung e398 ko kinonvert ko sa rokr e1 e..may vidoe camera na sya ngayon.kaso hindi na tumatagal ang battery..araw2 na lang nkaconnect sa pc..hehe

e398 ba phone mo? handa ka bang harapin ang consequences ng pagpo-program ng phone mo? mhirap magpalit ng firmware from R372 to R373 kung baguhan ka lang..

ung R372 ang firmware ng ordinaryong e398 phone..ung R373 nman ang firmware ng E1 ROKR phone.. ang ga2win mo, ifa-flash mo ung R373 sa e398 para mgkaroon sya ng video camera feature..:D

PROS of changing frrom R372 to R373:
- magkakaroon ng video camera ang e398 na dating wala..
- pede mas bumilis ang respond time ng firmware (pagpindot ng mga buttons)
- may mga features na mapapadagdag gaya ng engr'ng menu

pero ang CONS:
- pede masira ang phone mo kung di ka marunong mag-flash
- uunti ang battery life dahil sa pagfa-flash dpende sa firmware
- pag mdaming bugs ung firmware na pinalit mo, magiging unstable na ang phone mo

ilan lang yan sa mga pede mangyari sa e398 o kahit sang motorola phone pag mali ang pagfa-flash..

pde ba to sa ibang moto fone?

diko po sure dahil magka2iba ng firmware ang bawat moto phones..ibig sabihin pedeng magkakaiba ng bit location ang system sounds nila..

ok na, un araw n nag asko ako. pinagaralan ko lahat... hehe, nice guide.. salamat...
un seem editor n lng tinututukan ko.... 1 year n sakin to fon, pero ngaun k lng nlaman n pede pala gn2, nang nsa hauz lng, hehe... tnx ulit...

nagawa mo? :clap: ako dati trial and error eh..hehe..nagsimula ako sa simpleng seem editing hanggang naging advanced na, hanggang sa pagba-backup at pagfa-flash ng firmware..:D

hehe, kkalibang, araw araw iba iba mp. hihihi, pero e2 nmn nxt. review ko muna tong thread mo... mahirap na sumablay.. hehe

ingat ka lang sa pagfa-flash..kailangan lagi full batt ang cp mo.pag nmatay yan sa gitna ng pagfa-flash, di ka na mka2punta sa boot loader.. pero may solusyon pa rin! iso-short mo lang ang 4th and 5th na terminal sa pwet ng cp mo..:D

saka wag lagi papalit palit ng mp..sinisira mo unti2 ang unit mo pag ganun..ung e398 ko, haf day na lang tumatagal ang batt..:(
