Sir balak ko bumili ng PSP, kaso hindi ko alam kung ano ang magandang bilhin meron daw namodified na at merong hindi pa. Ano po kaya mga bossing ang maganda?Help naman po:help:

because lumines has a unpatched firmware that can downgrade to 1.5 and install again another custom firmware. if you are already running custom firmware, theres no problem unless the emulator needs a higher firmware version. and also depends what type of psp (phat or slim) and custom firmwares. for now, the slim doesn't support some homebrews (including some emulators) because of the kernel support. i have a slim and playing the gpsp hend 0.9 (gba emulator) and runs smooth. for the best firmware, around 3.50 if your a phat and slim is 3.71 m33-2 (unless you don't like themes, then stay on 3.60 m33 for a while)

ang palagay ko hindi pa nadodowngrade ngayon ay ang 3.71 OFW, wala pa kong nababasa na nadowngrade un gamit ang pandora's battery. kung sakaling may mabasa kayo pakipost nalang dito para madowngrade ko psp ko.

salmat po sa mga comments nyo kasi madaming naguguluhan tulad ko sa mga ganyan eh... wala nmn prob skin kasi ok nmn ung mga games dito sa spain kaso nga lang ung mga gs2 ko hinde english version.. kaya salamat po!

nabasa ko pwede na madowngrade ang 3.71 OFW pero kailngan mo ng MAGIC MEMORY STICK saka JIGKICK BATT na gawa na, in short kung may friend ka na gumagamit ng Custom Firmware tpos nag downgrade sya, pwede mong gamitin ung ginawa nyang mga Requirements ng Pandora...

3.71 M33 by M33=Dark_AleX

Changes in 3.71 M33:

- Now uses 3.71
- VSH Menu is not longer launched using HOME key, but using SELECT now. This is to not interfere with the XMB function of home, which is now more useful in this firmware.
- Psp Slim: umdcache was allocating memory even when homebrew was launched, wasting memory that homebrew programs may want to use. Now umdcache module is stopped before it can allocate any memory, only in the case homebrew is launched.

Also, memory is unprotected for user memory usage by M33 core (only when homebrew is launched).
Developer, for a sample of how to use the extra memory, see the extra ram sample of the M33 sdk.

- Both version boot now from 3.XX ipl, and are independent of 1.50.

The main installer will not install 1.50 kernel anymore.
A 1.50 kernel addon for 3.71 M33 that will install inside 3.71 M33 will be released in a
few days (for fat only)

Note: due to some changes in kernel nids by Sony, you can expect a lot of kernel plugins not working anymore.
Programmers: refer to the sdk readme for details.

All you need is a memory stick large enough to store games and of course a PSP. Here's a list of instructions on how to do it:

1. First you are going to need an ISO file of the game you want to play. You can download all the latest games from many sites, most will charge you a one time fee and then you can download as many as you wish forever. All you need to do is to spend some time searching in the internet.

2. You'll need a small program that will run the game from your memory stick, you can download it from psp-hacks it is called PSP RunUMD UMD Emulator v0.8C. (This is a homebrew application and may not run on PSP with firmware version higher than 1.50) Download it and put it onto your memory stick. Follow the instructions that came with the file and put it in the exact folder it says and make sure that you have the correct configuration:

CPU/Bus speed :333/166 MHz (may vary depending on game to be played) ISO emulation mode :Load RunUMD Disctype ISO :game Disctype UMD :game Updater icon :remove Use boot.bin :off Regioncode override :off Regioncode game :regionfree Regioncode Video :regionfree Regioncode audio :regionfree Flash0 emulation :off Flash1 emulation :off

3. You'll have to create a folder called ISO; this is where your psp games will go. Connect your PSP to your PC and drag and drop the files into the ISO folder. Now switch on the PSP and select the PSP RunUMD UMD Emulator v0.8C from the memory stick. Once the program is running you should see the games you have in the ISO folder. Just select it to start playing.

Your firmware is a Custom Firmware so it should be able to play downloaded ISO's and CSO's. Just copy them to the ISO folder at the root of the memory stick.

Your firmware is 3.71 M33-3. This firmware has the original functions of official 3.71 like multimedia functions, the ability to surf the web, the ability to safely flash custom themes, and many more. It also has additional functions like running ISO games and Homebrew Code.

A firmware is like the operating system of your computer. It can be updated the same way you can upgrade your computer from Windows XP to Vista.

A Custom Firmware (CFW) is basically a hacked version if Sony's official firmware. They have all the features of the official version while having the ability to execute homebrew code, which are basically homemade programs that don't have Sony's digital signature. The ability to run ISO images is just one of the many additional functionalities of CFW's.

Bro. ung original FW [Firmware] is released by sony dun sa official site nila, if so kailangan mong i-downgrade yang PSP mo like the other members have already told you, lahat ng FW ni DAX is nandito sa site na to dark-alex.org basahin mo lang mabuti yung mga read me's at baka ma brick yung PSP mo at pag nangyari yun kelangan mo ng pandora, meron din dun sa site.

Kung 3.71 lang ang nakalagay sa system info mo ibig sabihin Official Firmware (OFW) yun from sony. Pero kung 3.71 M33 yun ay Custom Firmware (CFW).

So if you already have a custom firmware you can just download .ISO or .CSO games then put them on you memory stick directory which is ISO folder.

And if you have CFW 3.71 M33 just update it to the newest firmware which is 3.71 M33-4. But do it in sequence 3.71 M33 -> 3.71 M33-2 -> 3.71 M33-3 ->> 3.71 M33-4

hmm mga 100-800 (depende rin kung iuupdate nila sa latest FW) at ang pinakamataas ay 8GB kaso di pa matino ang mga peke or class a cards, mas readable ang original.

Bro. as the others have already told you yun yung range ng service para dun, pero if I were you ikaw na lang mismo yung mag-update kase mas mura @ practical continuous kasi yung labas ng Firmware ng PSP and kung ikaw yung klase ng tao na gustong laging updated (para na rin malaro mo yung mga latest na game requiring a higher firmware version) magkano rin yung magagastos mo punta ka sa dark-alex.org andun lahat ng materials basahin mo lang maiigi yung mga read me's then dun sa capacity ng memory stick as of now 8gig pa lang kaso nasa Php.7K yata yung original nun then me lalaban pa atang 32gig kaso medyo mahaba habang hintayan yun dito sa market natin.

2 ways you can downgrade this and install custom firmware by yourself

1. upgrade to 3.50 and secure an unpatched lumines UMD to use the Iluminati exploit in
order to downgrade to 1.50 then install custom firmware

2. borrow a homebrew enabled PSP (PSP with custom firmware) so you can make a pandora kit to directly install 3.71 m33-2 on your unit. If you dont know somebody who
has a homebrew enabled PSP and you are good at soldering, then you can hardware
mod the battery to turn it into jigkick/service mode.

It will be better if you can install custom firmware on the PSP by your self. Just search some topic here or goto maxconsole.com and afterdawn.com for the instructions on how to do it.

In that way you can save money and use the money to buy a memory stick instead rather than paying someone to install a custom firmware on your PSP.

So if M33 release a new Custom Firmware you know how to work it out your self. Rather than throwing away your money.

Siguro bro mag-update ka muna ng firmware, yung custom ha kase di mo malalaro yung CSO/ISO pag official yung Firmware mo, kase yung mga magagandang games ngayon requires that you have a higher firmware just PM me for the sites kase alam ko bawal mag-promote ng ibang forums dito. :)

If taga makati ka bro. sa glorietta which is aroung Php.1K or sa market market (4th floor) Php 500.00 then after that you can update yourself (materials are here (http://dark-alex.org) madali lang naman yun copy paste lang to save you some money.

1st. Bili ka ng ORIG & Brand New PSP
--para guaranteed ka na walang hidden defects at maayos

2nd. Firmware
--Pag bago at sa authorized seller ka bumili,
orig UMD discs lang ang malalaro mo but kung ipapamodify mo (custom firmware) makakalaro ka ng mga games directly from your Memory Stick.

3rd. How Much?
--P300 - P800... depende sa mga stores na pinagtatanungan mo, but yet they still do the same process.. idowngrade at iupgrade sa custom firmware ang PSP to play games from your Memory Stick.

firmware - parang operating system ng psp. ask mo nalang sila sa pagmodify, lam ko na pag bumili ka ng package dito, sinasamahan nila ang pag modify. as of now, 3.80 ang highest firmware at may custom firmware narin ang 3.80 by m33.

hmm..about memory stick..,pag bumiLi ka ng psp pwedeng may ksma ng memory stick un DEPENDE sa bibiLin mo meron kcng nkapackage n at meron nmn hindi..

-yup , kung high firmware kana pede mo malaro ang mga games pero pag low inde (unless gumamit ka ng devhook na nagplaplay ng mga higher fw games kaso natigil ang development dahil may mga missing files sa mga higher fw games)
-m33 yung mga hacker team na nag cracrack ng mga Firmwares sa psp
- depende sa package na yun. pareho lang naman ang price sa pag modify (unless may downgrade/upgrade to specified versions like latest)

I i were u psp slim na bilhin mo ok sya. as in! nde ka magsisisi. I bought my psp last october and wala naman me nagkaroon ng problema. ang ginamit kong firmware ay 3.71 m33-2. inupgrade ko from 3.70 to 3.71 m33-2. medyo risky nga lang kc pwedeng mabrick ung psp. Pero ok ung m33-2 na version almost lahat ng nadownload kong ISO gumagana not lyk other frimware mga game nde malaro.

sana makatulong tong suggestion ko.

sa slim kasi hindi lang magaan eh double memory (64mb) para mas mabilis ang loading. eto rin gagamitin sa mga future apps like skype sa psp.

nagtanong ako sa mall kung magkano ung fat and slim sabi 12. dw,, parehas lng b tlga un?

^ tama naman ang 4 gig nasa 2k-2,5k. ok na rin yung 500, latest na ba yun? pero alam ko mas mura na ang fat kesa sa slim ah. ang mga slim max price is 12 (including 4 gigs), di ko sure sa fat.
