Nabalitaan nyo na ba un IPOD maglalabas ng cellphone which they will call it IPHONE?
Cguro kaya pinalitan un forum name ng IP
As AppleInsider reports, it seems that the much-rumored iPhone from Apple is on its way. Apple filed for trademark last month with a "Far Eastern" trademark office.
In the September 15th filing, Apple describes iPhone as "handheld and mobile digital electronic devices for the sending and receiving of telephone calls, faxes, electronic mail, and other digital data; MP3 and other digital format audio players."
...
Of particular interest is a secondary classification of iPhone listed in the filing which pertains to a "stand alone video game machine," implying that the device may be compatible with the handful of arcade games recently introduced for Apple's fifth-generation video iPod players.
The discovery of this trademark adds to the list of evidence that points to Apple marrying the iPod and the traditional cell phone. Among other clues is the domain name iPhone.org, registered by Apple back in 1999, which has long forwarded to Apple's main website at Apple.com as well as the mention of mobile phones all over iTunes 7's predefined text strings.
Analyst Shaw Wu with American Technology Research has indicated that he feels certain Apple is near rolling out such a device.
"The design will be an iPod nano-like candy bar form factor and come in three colors (we are not certain of the exact colors but we suspect black, white and platinum, similar to Apple's current color scheme of iPods and Macs)."
The trademark's mention of gaming support is an interesting point, as has recently turned the iPod into a game machine, and gaming support on any future iPod device just makes sense. (It's also interesting to note that the rumored, widescreen, touch-sensitive iPod is said to sport 3D graphics acceleration for gaming courtesy of Nvidia....) Stay tuned.
