bro, it would really depend on the signal in your area. majority of the feedback that i have read is that smart bro is more stable than globe, while globe is the faster one. tapos once you are disconnected from globe, you have to pay another P5 while in smart, you can still reconnect within 30 mins.

Paalala para sa mga nagbabalak bumili, globe visibility na huawei e220 ang kasamang modem ang bilhin para mdali iunlock, magagamit nyo lahat ng network sims. Hanap nlang kayo ng mga second hand ksi iba na yong ksamang modem ngayn ang globe visibility kit.

Sa tipidpc din ako nkabili buti nkatsamba ako ng bago pa. 2500 din ang bili ko, 3500 dpat ksi bnili dw nla ng 4500 dati pero sabi ko 2500 nlang sa globe kya bnigay nla. Buti nlang mababait ung nkadeal ko. Ingat nlang kayo sa mga mkkadeal nyo.
Last week may nkita pa ako sa farmers (sa dealer lng) na ganun ang kasamang modem tinanong ko kung mgkano, 2500 dn dw kaya lng khapon ng dumaan uli ako wla na.

its better to use Globe visibility/Smart bro plug-in modem than cellphones coz it is faster.... lots of applications are using the phone so the result is the internet connection affected....

when it comes to signal, smart is better than Globe coz smart got the lower frequency spectrum... why? lower frequency spectrum means transmission and reception capability covers a greater range from a technology standpoint. This characteristic can permit the use of fewer 3G base stations and network elements, while still providing substantial coverage

it means also that Smart 3G signal is stable...(pansin mo, konting galaw mo lang sa Globe phone lumiliit at lumalakas 3G signal bar. that's because Globe frequency is higher)

Smart 3G also has the biggest 3G channels.. Smart has 3 channels equivalent to 15mhz... while Globe only has 2 equivalent to 10mhz...

it means more channels, more data can handle..more subscribers can handle



but all Globe 3G cellsites are HSDPA ready. speed of up to 1.8mbps

now, smart is upgrading there cellsites to HSPA(7.2mbps speed)... but not all cellsites


it's up to you if you want Smart or Globe.....


but for me, im only using Globe right now.... im a loyal subscriber eh... hehe

Globe is deploying WimaX Network.... it is faster than 3G...... speed of up to 70mbps
they are going to lunch it by 1st quarter next year... that's 2009
but the problem is phones right now are not WimaX supported.... i think they are going to sell Wimax modem....

pede po yan. settings lang po ang babaguhin mo (dapat activated na rin ang gprs mo at 3g ha) sa smartbro kit. yung sakin nga eh prepaid ang ginamit ko dati gumana yung ubt. basta settings lang...settings lang. hehe

Profile name: Smart
Dial number: *99# (Use this na lang po para automatic ma-detect ng smart bro kung saang port naka-plug 'yung modem nyo po...)
APN: internet
Authentication: PAP

Ginamit ko po 'yung settings ko dati nung phone ko pa ginagamit ko mag-online...
