Heres The Instructions :



OTA (over-the air) configuration
a) To activate GPRS *and* MMS
- SET MMS send to 211
- wait for the configuration to be downloaded to your phone (up to 24 hours)
- once downloaded, you will have SmartMMS data account, and SmartMMS WAP profile, and your MMS is configured already to use SmartMMS WAP profile
- you will also receive a confirmation message that your GPRS and MMS have been activated
b) To configure internet access (full access)
- SET INTERNET (handset model) send to 211
- wait for the configuration to be download to your phone, in minutes
- once downloaded, you will have SmartPC data account, and SmartPC WAP Profile
- edit this account to include DNS settings. DNS IP addresses are -202.057.096.003, 202. 057.096.004. you only need one.
c) To configure WAP via GPRS
- SET GPRS T68 send to 211
- wait for the configuration to be download to your phone, in minutes
- once downloaded, you will have SmartGPRS data account, and SmartGPRS WAP Profile. SET THIS AS YOUR DEFAULT PROFILE
d) To configure WAP via CSD (Optional - kasi MAY BAYAD ITO, per minute)
- SET WAP T68 send to 211
- wait for the configuration to be download to your phone, in minutes
- once downloaded, you will have SmartWAP data account, and SmartWAP WAP Profile. SET THIS AS YOUR DEFAULT PROFILE

I suggest you clear all your existing data accounts and wap profile beforeyou do this. If you follow the instructions in this order, SmartPC will have a CID=2. Your dial-up number willbe *99***2#

Setting up of MMS and GPRS handsets:

To download SMART MMS phone settings, key in SET MMS and send to 211.
To download SMART GPRS phone settings, key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

Activating SMART MMS and GPRS:
To activate SMART GPRS, key in GPRS ON and send to 333.
To activate SMART MMS, key in MMS ON and send to 333

Upon receiving the configuration settings, select "Save All" to save the settings in the phone.

Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated.

Verified working by me using n95 8gig and n96 on om 4.2 [mod by our friends from PD] using default smart access point
(e2 yung ksma ng smart internet at smart mms) my 5 pesos me n load.speed is good as with sun ubt ^_^


Working as of nov. 14, 2008 setting varies fron different handset. tested on n70me,n95 8gig and n96

Nid 1 to work,piso is valid only for 24 hrs after that nid n uli ng piso.in short u nid 3 peso to pasalod.2 for the pasalod and 1 transaction fee ^_^

Setting for om 2.06 and 3.10
Procedures:
1. Edit ur access point setting on ur phone.to do this on go to menu>setting>connection>access point>option>new access point>use default

2. Leave everything default (unchange) except to...
Connection name: Smart UBT
Access point name: internet

Then press option>advanced setting

Leave everything default except to
Proxy servr address: 61.120.148.32
Port: 8080

3. Go to application manager.set om to always ask to read and write user data (from menu>application>application manager>open setting)

4. Using om 3.10 or 2.06 mod by sir aED, if nkainstall n yung om go to tools>setting>network

If hndi p nkainstal ang om,bgo kyo mg network test press # then 8 then same procedure s taas

Wag nyo llagyan check yung shadow connect d kyo mkkpg download

Save then use smart ubt to connect to internet, yun nka ubt n kyo

Apn: INTERNET
Proxy: 80.232.117.10
Port: 80
*Opera setting
Go to tools>setting>network fill in
The address to connect: http://www.smart.com.ph
Opera mini server: wap.amob.com
Put check on shadow connect and uncheck reset of a server at an error

Rest is same as ng setting ng nsa 2 unang post

ung globe umaabot ng 80-100KB/s... kaya nga mas gusto ko sana globe kaya lang pahirapan na ngaun dati sayaya hehe

sir help naman po, bago lang ako sa ganito, activated naman po gprs ko n70me gamit ko
panu po ba sa unang install ng opera mini anong next step kasi pagka-install ko tapos click ko na yung opera tanong lang allow network to use etc... tapos select ko ung smart then "failed to connect to the internet" di ko ma-acces yung config ng opera pasensya na po sa katangahan ko

mga sir patulong naman po. hindi ko maset yung P990i ko. smart gprs and smart mms lang ang nadodownload kong settings...
