View Full Version : Speed Cubers' Thread
L Lawliet 1st Dec 2008 Mon, 18:06 Hi Guys, I just want to start this thread about speed cubing. I know there are lot of symbianizers out there who are very much able to solve a 3 x 3 Rubik's cube, but speed cubing is a different story.
This is where we can share about speed cubing (not just plainly solving it). I've practicing speed cubing for a couple of months and I'm using a beginner's method (Layer by Layer method) and I'm averaging 1 min 5 secs and I think I've already reached my ceiling for Layer by Layer method so I want to try different methods to cut my solving time by half.
So with this thread I would like to have someone share their tips and tricks on how to achieve that, advance methods, finger tricks, advanced shortcuts etc.
I want to leave a question to you to start off this thread, what method would be the best method to follow after you've exhausted using the basic/beginner method with the least adjustment from the beginner's method?

aral ka tol ng f2l > first two layer... sabay buuin ang first and 2nd layer..
kpag kaya mo na.. pag aralan mo naman ang Orientation of the Last Layer (OLL).
kapag alam mo n lahat.. speed nlng nid mo..
krayzienix 30th Dec 2008 Tue, 23:53 wow speed cubing.
sali ako dito mga bro ^_^
half a year palang akong nagcucube.
meron akong 2x2x2, 3x3x3, 4x4x4, at 5x5x5.
DIY cubes lahat, hehe.
yung 2x2x2, boring, hehe.
panjo: bro try mo fridrich, ayus na ayus, kaso it'll take time for you to get used to it, hehe.

Salamat sa sharing 'tol. Pero transitioning from 12 Algos to 40+ Algos seems a bit too much for me. It's a huge leap from 12 to 40 algos. :weep:

try mo f2l lng muna.. wag mo muna buuin ang last layer...
it takes 3 months bago ko namaster lahat...
