Hi,

Does anybody else have problems configuring the GPRS and MMS settings for Omnia?

I tried configuring it for Smart and Sun and everything checked out flawlessly. For Globe, however, I've hit several roadblocks already.

I couldn't find the correct settings for Globe in their website (siguro dahil kalaban ng iPhone 3G nila), so I tried calling their tech support three times already, each time, they sent me settings for other phones (X100, N600, etc).

I tried experimenting, mixing settings I got from my other phones, and right now, GPRS/3G/HSDPA works fine (video call and streaming also works), but I still can't send nor receive MMS.

I already sent globe several e-mails and even complained personally (heck, I work in Globe's main building), but so far, nada. I really don't want to switch since I've had my number for twelve years now.

Oh yeah, I've exhausted Google as well.

I'm hoping someone else already solved this problem. :pray:

Oh my! so there's still no available settings for omnia globe users? now that really sucks! i was searching for it all day! tell me when u have something bro!

sa tinign ko nga po ndi allow ng globe buksan ung gprs ng GLOBE using Samsung Omnia phone same problem din po kasi ako eh heheheh

Marami din namang nokia phones ang wala pang gprs settings ng globe.. Like 5320xm.. Basta sop magsend ng mms sa sariling number.. You should try that bro.. With the correct mms settings of course.

hmmm ang alam ko sa MMS pag nabawasan ka ng 25 na maintening balance automatic na deactivate na MMS mo nun so dapat lagi ka my balace pra ndi mawala yung MMS mo..

Yap tama. I Manual configure mo na lang yung settings mo para maayos mo na sya.

dude.. could you pls. send the configuration ng sa sun for the gprs and mms na ginamit mo for omnia.. much appreciated ,.. tnx .. globe sucks..

until now wala pa rin ba solution for globe how to activate ng gprs/mms nila? waahhhh

hmmm? kasi gamit ko din omnia.. globe prepaid ako, ok naman mms gprs,.. at first d ko ma set on yun, kaya pumunta nalang ako sa globe pinaset ko..

may alam po ba kayong viewer for ebooks for omnia tnx
