disclaimer: this post does not intend to violate the privacy of anyone. this is for people who want to use PersonFinder without having to spend a lot. you'd have to be authorized to search the location of the subscriber before you'd be able to locate them. to find out how to do that, send WIS to 386.. please feel free to delete this if this has already been posted here..
SMART PERSONFINDER TRICK:
-you'd need a computer with internet access and your cellphone with at least 9 pesos load. and you'd need to be already registered to use PersonFinder.-
1. with your phone, send WIS PFWEB ACCESS to 386 (this would cost you 2.50)
2. you'll receive your password to access PersonFinder on the net. write it down.
3. TURN YOUR PHONE OFF. (this is very important)
4. go to www.personfinder.ph on the web
5. log in with your number as your username in this format: 919xxxxxxx then put in the password you received through txt. then login.
6. you'd be taken to a page where you'd have to select which person to locate. select whoever you want to locate then locate them.
7. your browser will then show you the location of the person you searched and the map of their location.
THIS IS THE TRICK PART:
you can do this over and over again as long as you don't turn your cellphone on. so you can search as many people as you want with a measly 9 pesos load.
TIPS:
- DON'T TURN YOUR PHONE ON DURING THE WHOLE PROCESS
- it would be better if your load is not more than 9 pesos because after you've located every person you wanna locate and you turn your phone on afterwards, Smart's system would try to charge you for every search you made. you'll get messages confirming every search. after you receive all the confirmation messages, wait an hour to be safe, then you can load up again.
- your password to PersonFinder on the web would expire after 24 hours so you'd have to do Step 1 after 24 hours or whenever you wanna use PersonFinder 24 hours or more after the last time you used it.
