Well since marami na ang marunong magsalita ng japanese i'd like to propose that we teach the others the basic japanese language..

I find it very usefull for people who knows how to speak nohonggo.. Much better if you can read them..

So how bout the basic nihonngo alphabet..

I'll post here the basic Hiragana and katakana.. and how to read it..

Its going to be a slow pace para naman maraming makasunod.. please don't flood / spam these thread with questions coz i wont be able to answer them..

I'm also a student and im just taking elementary 2 sa japanese..

There are 3 basic japanese alphabet..

1.) Hiragana
2.) Katakana
3.) Kanji

Ok since many are sending me a PM about Romanji ill include it.. But I wont be discussing it.. You can live in JAPAN knowing only the three basic alphabet..

Hiragana is used in words that came originally from JAPAN.. Meaning words that are really theirs..

Unlike Katakana they are the words that are foreign or as we call them here "SALITANG HIRAM"

So ill start with HIRAGANA..

あ い う え お
A I U E O

Watashi wa Tartimorion desu. Dozo Yoroshiku.

>> Hajimemashte Tartimorion san.. Watashi wa Colonel Desu..

----------------------------

Notes to others:

In here tartimorion san said:

"Watashi wa Tartimorion desu" - It means "I am Tartimorion"

Watashi is read as "Wa/Ta/Shi" it means - I / Me

Wa is the subject pointer.. In here the pointer "WA" is pointing at Watashi

Desu is the read as "Des" you don't read it as "De/Su" unless you want to be called Japanese Visaya.. Desu is the polite way of ending your sentence..

"Dozo Yoroshiku" - Literally means "Please be kind to me"

----------------------------

I replied with

"Hajimemashte Tartimorion san.. Watashi wa Colonel Desu.."

"Hajimemashte Tartimorion san" means "Nice to meet you Mr. Tartimorion" or "How do you do Mr. Tartimorion"

San can mean Mr. or Ms./Mrs.. You don't use "SAN" when saying I AM MR. COLONEL you just say I AM COLONEL..

"Watashi wa Colonel Desu" - I am Colonel..

a i u e o
ka ki ku ke ko
sa shi su se so
ta chi tsu te to
na ni nu ne no
ha hi fu he ho
ma mi mu me mo

next is only three characters..

や ゆ よ
ya yu yo

you might be asking me where is "yi" and "ye".. they dont have them..

Colonel

ら り る れ ろ

@HIRAGANA Chart... what does the characters mean? bakit may ???? sa taas?

Hiragana is the japanese alphabet.. check posts before that.. there is a reading for the following..

By combining the characters we could form words..

Example is:

わ is read as WA
た is read as TA
し is read as SHI

When we combine them:

わたし its going to be watashi which means "I" or "ME"

----------------
Sample 2

い is read as I (ee)
え is read as E (eh)

When we combine them:

いいえ ー its going to be IIE (ee-yeh) which means "NO"

----------------
Sample 3

は is read as HA
い is read as I (ee)

When we combine them:

はい ー its going to be HAI (hay-) which means "YES"
----------------

Thank you for asking.. I would really appreciate it..

heheheh oo nga noh.. off topic nga.. pero oks lang may japanese word naman eh..

Sumimasen - すみません

Refering to the Hiragana chart

す is read as SU
み is read as MI
ま is read as MA
せ is read as SE
ん is read as N

combining it makes it すみません (sumimasen) which means excuse me or sorry..

------------

ok going back to your question..

Super Moderator.. Well i've been moderating quite a few forums.. 2-3 and a super moderator in another forum.. As ive seen this forum moderators are doing a great job but it just happened that there are still many thing to fix.. 1 is the spamming..

Being a moderator will not make any difference.. But being a super mod will make a great diff..

napansin ko lang , you always mention "Super Moderator".. nasa signature mo rin na ang goal mo ay maging isang "Super Moderator".. tanong ko lang ano ang nagagawa ng isang "Super" moderator na hindi magagawa ng isang mod lang? meron bang something special na magagwa ng "Super" mod? i guess it's just a title..siguro hindi na kailangan ng title na yan,, cause every mod is a "Super" mod,, as long as alam nya kung ano ang ginagawa nya at he knows how to fix things.. if you wish to have the "Super Moderator" title,, you can do so,, just change your title to super mod.. na mention mo rin na marami pang dapat i-fix sa forum,, 1 is spamming.. ano pa ung iba? please point them for me.. i would like to see them..

Actually a super mod can do a lot more that a MOD.. Here's a little list for you..

1.) He can add new MODS to a section / sub section..
2.) A super mod can PHYSICALLY delete a thread and post while a MOD can only soft delete a thread or post..
3.) He can ban mods if they are not doing their jobs properly..
4.) He can assign new stuffs which the admin might be forgetting..
5.) And he can also sing in the bathroom while the moderators are watching.. ok just kidding..

hehehe..

hehehe.. its only one of his DUTIES to make sure that mods are really doing his part..

Admins can't really see all of these..

Why not make the 3 most active mods SUPER MODS?
Why not make the 3 best forum helper TRIAL MODS?
