Madaming scenes ang tinanggal in the movie..explanations and dialogues are much clearer sa libro..in my opinion mas ok ang dating nung deliverance nung mga lines ni edward and bella sa books..not that cheesy unlike sa movies.:)
thats just me..
there is also a draft of edward's point of view in stephenie's site as well as extras not included in the book..the movie is just a good summarizatrion of the book for me..:)

If you happened to read the book before you've watched the movie you'll be disappointed.

as deanne723 said, maraming scenes ang di naisali sa movie. some of which are vital. there are more kilig moments sa book and funny scenes too :)

nabasa ko yung buong book hanggang sa breaking dawn..
yung sa twilight nman nakakadisappoint kasi .. yun nga tanggal yung ibang scene.. and parang kulang sa feelings yung movie.. unlike dun sa book.. kahit words lang ramdam mu yung situation ng bawat character.. nga pla.. bagay na bagay yung jacob sa movie.. and kulang pa sa acting yung bella sa movie..

agree ako sainyo.. very disappointed ako nung napanuod ko yung movie..ang bilis ng kwento. even my sister na hindi binasa yung book na pansin nya na sobrang bilis ng kwento bigla na lang daw sila nag ka inloveban .. hahaha..

hindi nakuha yung mga kilig moments nila edward at bella dun sa book.. lalo na yung the way na mag kiss sina edward and bella sa book mararamdaman mo kung paano sila nahihiarapan, para makapag kiss lang..

if you're a bookworm like me, you should read all four books, plus the draft of midnight sun (edward's version of twilight)..

nakaka-adik nga eh. i was super bummed after the 1st day of the board exam, so i started reading it and it took away the frustration of the board exam. hahaha.

yup, you guys are right, the movie was disappointing, especially if you read the book first. most of the actors were monotonous and had flat affects. but there were some scenes that were good though.:clap:

if you really want to get to know the story and each character, then by all means, read the entire series! it's hard to stop once you've started.:dance:

nabasa ko na po lahat ng books ng twilight saga including the partial draft of midnignt sun(edward's point of view of twilight)..ang masasabi ko po ay marami talagang tinanggal na chapters dun sa movie, hindi nga naman kaya yun in just 2 hours...so pinagkasya nila in just less than 2 hours.Although marami yung inalis na mga chapters,andun pa rin naman yung whole idea in the movie.

kaya mas maganda kung babasahin mo rin yung book, for you to know kung alin ba yung mga tinanggal na scenes and mga kilig moments.:)

Ok ang Twilight Saga, kakaiba din ang concept ng book. I agree with most of the comments here, the movie sucks. But nakakakilig pa rin, mas lalo na sa book.

Anyway, alam nyo ba na may isang forum na nagclose for posting Twilight saga ebooks (di ko na mention ang name ng forum). Hindi naman sila sure kung dahil sa Twilight pero twice nangyari na everytime na may nagshare ng twilight, napapasara sila. So, as precaution, delete na nila agad kapag may nagpost ng ebooks ni Meyer.

I agree with them, I will go with the books. I read all of them mas descriptive, romantic at feel mo lahat ng emotions ng characters.

It happened na napanuod ko muna ung movie then binili ko ung set and after reading all of them i watched ulit ung movie and it fell flat on me. mas ok pa rin basahin ang books...

ahm hindi ko pa xa nababasa.pero sa libro daw kasi super comedy daw ng onti.at super duper kilig.(kwento ng ate ko ha.)

I saw the movie first.. I like it especially c edward dun sa movie.. and it triggered me to read all the four books.. the book is a certified Page-Turner for me.. I agree, nakakakilig talaga c edward dun sa book.. I have e-books but i still bought ung 1 set ng Twilight Saga.. hehehe.. I'm Looking forward na matapos ni Stephenie Meyer ung Midnight Sun, ito ung other Version of Twilight based on Edward's Perspective.. nakakakilig talaga.. hahahaaay...

good thing i watch first the movie before reading it.. but tamad ako mgbasa.. some one told me there is a narrated version of it.. where can i find it kaya.. T_T im hunger for the new moon...

To those who seen the movies first and loved it, I assure you that you will love the book.. but that depends if you like reading. If not, try audio books. ^^

I read the whole saga for like more than 6 times.

Ako bago pinalabas yung movie last year may nag bigay sa sister ko ng copy ng audio books, ako naman since I already planned to watch the movie (I like Kristen Stewart kase as an actress, I'm a fan since Panic Room pa lang) sige I'll listen to the books. This was like 4 days prior sa first showing date.
Grabe di ko binibitawan yung iPod ko, halos di ako natutulog kase gusto ko na malaman kung ano na susunod na mangyayari. Para akong zombie kase ayaw ko makipag usap sa tao, tapos pag kakain ako naka-headphones pa rin ako. Kahit may nag ttext di ko pinapansin :lol:

Kaya nung first hour ng first showing date nanood na talaga ako

Although expected ko na na mas maganda yung book, natuwa pa rin ako sa movie kase kung tutuusin hindi naman malaki ang budget ng Summit para sa Twilight dahil di naman sila sure na magiging blockbuster yung film. Pero at least they got the message through.
Thankful na rin ako kase kung nasunod yung unang draft ng script (FBI chase scene, ocean scene) e di lalong pumalpak sila. Buti na lang matalino si Catherine Hardwicke at tinapon nya yung script na 'yun at kumuha sya ng ibang writer.
Kaya masanay na tayo na di talaga nila magagawa lahat ng nasa book kase sigurado kulang ang 5 hours para dun (well except kung gagawin nilang TV series di ba?).
Kaya I strongly suggest to read or listen to the books.
Oo nga pala meron na rin akong books nito which was a late Christmas present from my sister.:clap:
and hanggang ngayon nasa iPod ko pa rin yung mga audiobooks, parang wala na akong balak idelete dun:lol:

sirius and bellatrix are the ones who are dueling..not lucius and sirius.. but the fact na mas dramatic yung scene na yun sa movie is just too great...

hindi po nila kakayanin na ilagay lahat ng scenes sa movie, pag ginawa nila yun baka tumagal yung movie 10hrs or more longer, di ba? maiintindihan nyo ko pag naging producer or direktor na kayo common sense lang po guys, analysis, critical thinking haha

SimpLe Lng naman sagot weh, good author, good stories, and good book... If you prefer na paganahin un imagination mo stick to the book, if wLa kang tyaga, panoorin mo un movie..
