..very true.. mas mababa ang electric bill if we had this nuclear plant.. extra caution nga lang bka mapagaya tayo sa japan..

Marami na mga 1st world countries na umayaw na sa nuclear energy. Wag lng natin e shortcut ung progress natin, marami naman mga alternative energy dyan. Merong geothermal at ethanol, mayaman tayu dyan, ung problema lang kasi ay mga iba ung bumibili nang mga natural resources natin dito. Kagaya nang geothermal power plant dito samin, binili nang isang private company, instead na maka bawas sa electric bill wala namang pag baba nang presyo dito.

advantage yan kasi mag mumura ang electricity at mas mapapabilis ang paglago ng mga manufacturing industries dito satin,maaring makatulong ng malaki sa employment kung magkakaron ng mga pabrika dito sa bansa..
ang negative lang dito ay may pagka delikdao,lalo na ngayong madalas at malalakas ang lindol,kung hindi lang sana corrupt ang gobyerno at may assurance na hindi i sasubstandard ang mga gamit sa paggawa ng mga power plant at siguradong magiging safe kahit magka lindol o anu pa man ok sana, |

..actually advisable din sa atin ang solar power... kung mag-eexplore lang ang government, madami taung pwedeng sources ng electricity..

FIT or feed in tariff is a subsidy paid by the philippine govt to renewable power plant owners
SOME renewable electricity sources are SOOO expensive the philippine government has to buy electricity from them at higher rates or else they would go bankrupt. for example lets look at this one, the Northwind wind farm in ilocos norte. Quote:
